"I barely have control over when I decide to retreat and let someone else take over. But they don't stay long and they can't keep me there if I don't wanna be there."
"So, who's going up if Skylar doesn't want to?" Crybaby asked, only being met with silence. They were gathered in Skylar's living room, Lily and Blaze upstairs trying to get Skylar out of bed. "I'll go!"
"Yeah, you do that." Burst said, twirling a pair of scissors on her finger as she watched the fire in the fireplace flicker. Crybaby giggled and skipped out of the house, launching herself off of the ground. Her eyes snapped open and she sat up, looking around the room with a childish grin on her face.
"Let's wear a dress!" Crybaby said while climbing out of bed, going straight to the closet. She pulled out a pastel pink dress and some matching heels, making her way into the bathroom to get ready.

"Uncle Uncle ready ready!" Crybaby said as she skipped downstairs, her hair in pigtails. Charlie looked up from his breakfast when she entered the kitchen, raising an eyebrow at her outfit.
"Crybaby, are those even safe?" He asked, referring to her heels. Crybaby scoffed and nodded, walking to the fridge and grabbing the lunch Lilith made for them. Charlie hesitantly nodded over to some keys on the table, Crybaby squealing in happiness, tears pouring down her face.
"A car! For us!" She walked over and squeezed Charlie in a hug, wiping her tears as she grabbed her things and ran outside, staring awestruck at the car.
