"Is that....Skylar?" Emmett and Jasper gasped dramatically, Skylar waving as she locked her car and made her way over to them, greeting them all with hugs.
"Yup. I have officially decided to stop hiding in the city and show up to school for as long as I can manage being around so many people." Skylar sighed, the Cullens smiling proudly at her. It was safe to say, she had gotten closer to them during her visits to the hospital and their house for her check ups.
"See, baby steps." Edward said as he put his arm around her shoulders.
"Speaking of babies, Crybaby wants you guys to visit her café. 'Made for all species' as she puts it." Skylar sighed as they walked into the school. "I told her I'll ask you guys."
"Oh, I totally wanna go." Emmett grinned, Alice nodding along with him. Skylar looked at Jasper, Rosalie and Edward for their answers and they shrugged.
"Name the time and place." They continued to make small talk before Skylar went with Alice and Rosalie to class, hugging the three boys and promising to see them later.
"Free day!" The art teacher sung as she spun into the classroom, Skylar immediately grabbing a canvas and some watercolors.
"Woah." Alice said when she glanced over at Skylar's painting. The girl looked at her painting and froze, realizing what she had just painted. It was Quiet, the day of the incident.

Skylar started hyperventilating as she backed away from the painting, a series of images from that day going through her head as she fell to her knees.
"Call Jasper." Rosalie calmly instructed Alice as she bent down and tried to calm Skylar down. Not long after, Jasper rushed into the classroom and dropped down next to Skylar, the girl clinging to him as he rubbed her back.
"Nothin's gonna get ya, darlin. Just breathe for me." His words were slightly muffled, sounding as if he was underwater. Skylar started taking deep breaths, forcing herself to calm down while gripping Jasper's shirt. "There you go."
"F-flip it over....p-pl-please." She stuttered, referring to her painting. Alice flipped it over and placed her jacket over it, Jasper slowly standing up with Skylar.
