" Whoa whoa whoa , there isn't a need for that John am leaving " uttered Gerrard . His skin would get spotty like a feather less chicken in a fridge as he gently lifted his harms.

" Stop it ! I can't believe you ! You say uncle is the monster but it's actually you who is the monster! Who would point a gun at his very own brother because of rumours that might be false! " she stated as she moved from her initial position and faced the gun head on and showing no fear or whatsoever.

"Get out of the way ! He is not my brother , my brother would never kidnap an innocent child , my brother would never kill innocent civilians and most of all , my brother would never bring harm to his neice but he did all of that ! He is not my brother!" He shouted and held the gun firmly even though his daughter was in front of it as he prepared to pull the trigger.

" Stop it John ! can't you see that you are hurting my daughter ! You are so obsessed with your stupid grudge against your brother that it is blinding you from the right thing , look am not a fan of Gerrard but if you go around pointing a gun on everyone including your family then you are no better than him " she exclaimed as she moved towards her daughter and faced the gun head on just like her daughter.

" They are right John but I can see that I failed you by not protecting Samantha and there are rumours of me doing bad things and I totally understand your anger but please don't take it out on them because they haven't done anything wrong , I was just here to bring Samantha home and prepare for the Captain's son's funeral tomorrow , so please put the gun down " he spouted whilst taking steps towards his brother.

" Take another step and there will be two funerals tomorrow , stop pretending to be innocent ! You are guilty just like your fa....." he uttered aggressively but suddenly stopped and that cause suspicion to Gerrard as he felt like he was hiding something.

Gerrard would point behind his brother as he drew his attention away from him thus giving him the opportunity to run for the hills. In disappointment , John would lower his gun and turned around to two furious faces of his wife and daughter which had a nasty expression.

" I can't believe you would point a gun at your own daughter , I rather be fatherless than have a guy like you as my father , from now onwards I don't know you. ." she spouted and spit at his 'father' and made way to her room.

" You pointed a gun at my daughter and you were ready to pull the trigger , I don't know you , you are not the man I married and if you may please excuse me , I have a daughter to take care of so please get out of my house. " she uttered with a nasty expression on her face and took steps following her daughter and leaving her ' husband ' alone.

In shame and disappointment , John took his coat and car keys and exited the apartment and headed towards the driveway where he got in his car and drove away with no destination in mind.

Clouds raced on the blue sky and swallowing it whole even the sun couldn't handle the presence of the clouds as it escaped to the mountains and brought close to the day.

The sun didn't shine as usual but instead the sky was crying like the captain of the Nelspruit police station , captain Jones . It was indeed a dreadful day for the old geezer because no parent ever wishes to bury their own children , in addition to the pain he was feeling it was also the day his wife departed.

The police force closed their operations for the day in order to support the man who dedicated his life to fight crime and save countless lives and also pay tribute to who seemed to be one of the new generation who showed potential to be a crime fighter though he was only in the lab.

People got out of their homes despite bearing the fear of not knowing what will happen and went to offer support to the man who works tirelessly to protect them . Some of the community ladies prepared food for the funeral and some arranged transportation and also a tent . Captain Jones wasn't in a state to prepare the funeral on his own.

The young Jones final home was set , the only thing that was left was to accompany him there . Lieutenant Sparks along with other five policemen lifted the coffin that was the lad's last bed as the choir ladies sang  hymns from behind as they accompanied to his final resting place.

Six feet under and just one hundred and twenty centimetres away from his mother lied the young man as the coffin slowly made its way to the ground. The old geezer couldn't control his emotions and allowed them to control him . He would jump and get a grip of his son's coffin and held on tight.

" Please let go sir.... " uttered lieutenant Sparks. He would approach the captain and tried making contact with him but it all backfired , the captain snapped and pushed him away and straight into the funeral attendants. The captain's actions brought shock to the police force and also the community members as they thought or rather treated the captain like a supernatural being who had no fear and didn't experience pain.

" Stay away from me ! And what are you all looking at ? Haven't you seen a grown man crying or what ? You think am cold blooded and don't have feelings ? I wouldn't be surprised if you all thought that way afterall you humans are like death , you always take and take but never give ! " he spouted holding tight to the coffin.

" Sir please , we are only trying to help because we care about and we appreciate all the work that you do so please calm down." responded the lieutenant who didn't give up . His feet made contact with the ground and slowly made way to the captain and offered him a hand .

" Get that thing away from me ! You don't know how it feels to lose your family so you can't possibly understand ! " he shouted whilst flickering the lieutenant's hand .

" I do..." those were the words that reached everyone's ears and brought fear and shock to them as they saw the caster of those words.

" You !! " uttered the captain with a nasty expression on his face .
