" Captain please don't do this , don't give him what he wants and you ! What do you want here , you have the guts to show your face here . " uttered lieutenant Sparks . He would caught grasp the captain's shoulders disallowing him to make motion.

" Am not here to cause a scene or whatsoever , am here to say goodbye to who it seemed like he had the potential to surpass his father in fighting crime and to support my father's friend in this time of despair and tragedy. " He uttered making his way near the coffin that was halfway through the hole , he held beautiful flowers that were a mixture of roses and lilies.

" You are not welcome here Simpson ! And don't you dare talk about my son you murderer !!! " he shouted and struggle his way out of the lieutenant's grasp , there was no way of controlling his rage caused by the hate he has towards Gerrard.

" Am sorry Captain , I didn't realize I wasn't welcome here , I just thought I should drop by and pay tribute to the fallen soldier who had great potential and support not only a family friend but also a man who works tirelessly to protect the city. " an innocent voice , an innocent expression in his face and words so sincere you could swear that Gerrard was possed by an Angel from heaven.

" I am not your friend ! You are not even my friend's son because Abraham was an innocent man , he didn't go around killing people and killing kids , he didn't turn into a monster unlike you !." the captain recited his frustration and made way towards Gerrard with his hands clenched forming fists .

The police force leaded by Sparks would come between Gerrard and the captain and tried to calm down the captain.

" Come on sir , he isn't worth it he is just here to cause havoc so he could revoke you , so please don't give him what he wants and let's just continue with the burial. " stated Sparks . He would hold the car captain's shoulders and made his way to the grave .

Gerrard joined the burial and made his presence felt as everyone would move from their initial position to a place far from him. The burial came to an end as the captain finally realized that his son was gone forever and didn't stop the coffin from going down.

The community members wouldn't hesitate , they would jump in their cars and fled like the wind , making their way to their homes in order to avoid an alternation with Gerrard . Gerrard would remain along with the police force and some of the community members who didn't fear Gerrard and wanted a piece of him after the funeral.

" Another idiot bite the dust , weaklings like that doesn't deserve to live . " although whispered these words managed to make way to the captain's ears . These words were like a mutation syrup because of what they did to the captain , his eyes were crimson from all the crying but his expression wasn't for crying .

The captain would burst out in anger and clenched his fists , he made way to Gerrard and threw punches at him and boy did his punches loved Gerrard's face as they would all kiss it . Gerrard surprisingly didn't retaliate Infact he allowed the captain to do his will on him.

" Captain stop ! He isn't worth it , you are just doing what he wants ! Please sir try to control your anger " uttered the lieutenant in shock and tried restraining the captain again but this time he failed miserably .

Captain Jones would push away the lieutenant and that gave the police force no choice but to intervene . It was all Gerrard's plan , he smirked while the policemen restrained the captain and handcuffed him.

" Gerrard Simpson you are under arrest for the murder of Simon Jones , Brian Smith and his wife , you have the right to remain silent and anything you say can and will be used against in the court of law , you have the right to get a lawyer and if you can't afford one the state will provide you with one " those words spoiled many people's plans , shocked many people and pleased some as the lieutenant would handcuff Gerrard who was paralyzed in shock of what was occuring to him.

" What ! I don't know what you are talking about ! Let me go , I didn't kill anyone ! " he defended himself though it was meaningless . The lieutenant put him in one of the police vans that were at the service and took him to the station.

A day that seemed like was the worst day anyone could have ever experience went by , hour after hour Gerrard waited in a prison cell thinking where did he go wrong with his plan.

It was time for the interrogation , Lieutenant Sparks went ahead to the interrogation room along with Gerrard who had a relaxed expression in his face like he knew that he was a free man .

" Well well well if it isn't the mighty Gerrard Simpson the most wanted in the country or should I say was the most wanted man in the country , how does it feel ? How does it feel to go to bed knowing that you took away the breadwinner of a family ? " asked the lieutenant . He circled around Gerrard with his arms folded.

" Well first of all this bad cop thing doesn't suit you lieutenant and second of all I don't know anything you are talking about and why am I arrested and third of all am not saying anything until my lawyer arrives." he uttered and tried folding his arms but it was impossible since he was handcuffed in order to prevent him from doing anything.

" You destroyed families ! You took away children's last ray of hope to a better life ! You created havoc in the city and forcing people to lock themselves in their houses because of your actions ! " shouted the lieutenant banging the desk and stared at Gerrard.

" I take it back , you are bad in this bad cop thing and as I have said before , I don't know what you are talking about or why I am here and I would be happy if you would call my lawyer. " recited Gerrard.

" You had a great plan I must admit , getting the captain suspended would guarantee you freedom because he is the one with the experience but you went wrong when you decided to show your face in a place that was filled with police while you are a wanted man. I know you think that there's no evidence linking you to the murders that occured in the city but you got it all wrong , your problem is that you leave a trail after your dirty work and you make it easy for us to connect the dots " uttered lieutenant Sparks with a smirk in his face.

" Wow you really know how to talk so can I now go ? " he responded with a facial expression that differed from the one he had when coming in.

" Mira , does that name ring a bell ? It's funny how a cereal killer would associate himself with a young girl " those words that came out of the lieutenant's mouth left Gerrard speechless and worried.
