Chapter 14

Here's the next chapter!

I'm so sorry it took so long. My first ever BL story, Caring For Myself, was coming to an end and I wanted to prioritize that first. Now that it's over, I can now focus on my other stories. I just want to say thank you to all who has read that story. It means so much to me that you have loved and read that story. I hope to continue writing stories that others might enjoy as well.

The restaurant was now well lit and a few of the tables have been merged together to form one big table for all of them. Phana and Wayo, the newly engaged couple, was sitting at the very end of the table, over looking all the people that were with them tonight. It was a small occasion, but they were happy that these people were there to celebrate it with them.

Phana's parents, Aran and Dara, sat by Phana's side as Wayo's family, which included his father, Korn, Arthit and his fiancé, Kongpob, and Pring. There also at the table was Mingkwan, Kit, Forth and his fiancé Beam, as well as Nate and Lemon. They were all currently enjoying some food that was served to them.

"May I have your attention please?" Korn said standing up and tapping his wine glass with his knife lightly. All the people stopped what they were doing and looked towards Wayo's father.

"I would like to thank everyone here for coming to witness such a beautiful moment between my son Wayo, and my future son-in-law, Phana. I'm so glad to see all the people that care for both of them. Yo, I'm glad to hear that I will be leaving you in capable hands. Phana is such a trustworthy man, and I thank his parents for raising him as a gentleman." Korn said addressing both Dara and Aran. The parents smiled and nodded towards Korn in admiration and thanks for the praise that they have recieved.

"To start this engagement party per se, Why don't we go around the table, telling some stories about the lovely couple, and some words of encouragement, some advice, or something that you would like to tell to the couple. Since I have finished, next up is Arthit..." Korn said motioning for Arthit to stand. Phana and Wayo were both holding hands under the table, with Wayo's head placed on Phana's shoulders, feeling the warm presence of his new fiancé.

"To start off, I first want to say congratulations to the newly engaged couple. Nong Phana, please take care of our youngest brother. Even though he is already old enough to take care of himself, he will still remain the baby of our family. Nong Wayo, it seems as if it was only yesterday when I first witnessed your first steps with Dad. Now all of a sudden, I see you here, engaged to the love of your life. And if I may, I would like to direct some attention towards us, if that's okay to the couple?" Arthit asked as Kongpob stood up and rounded his arms at Arthit's waist, pulling him closer. Phana and Wayo nodded and looked at the other engaged couple.

"We are proud to announce that our wedding will be in 4 months now..." Arthit said looking at Kongpob. The entire group clapped and cheered for Kongpob and Arthit. This day was definitely a day to celebrate, as one couple has announced that they are close to tying the knot, while the other announced the next step in their relationship.

"Thank you all, invitations would probably be sent next week. But for now, let us all focus on the reason we are here today, and that is to celebrate the engagement of Nong Pha and Nong Yo. My advice for you two is to always listen to each other. I know that with Phana's fame, there is bound to be some news here and there, I want to tell you both to only listen to each other, and to stay strong." Arthit said as Phana and Wayo mouthed a thank you to him. Arthit motioned for Kongpob to stand up.

"Nong Pha, Nong Yo, congratulations again for your engagement. You two are definitely one of the reasons to why I am as happy as you are right now. The others might not know this, but it was both Nong Pha and Nong Yo who helped me in picking out the ring that I used to propose to P'Arthit, and them helping with the engagement. Now, I'm happy to return the favor with your engagement as well. My wish for you both is to grow together happy, and be always there for each other. Your P's are always here for you, and that you both have us to support you." Kongpob said as the party clapped. As Kongpob sat down, Pring stood up next to him.
