It's a new day! And a new update!
Hello my lovely readers! I hope you are all staying at home and keeping safe. I would also like to take this time to reach out to everyone. News from the US has also reached here in PH, I would like to extend my support to the "Black Lives Matter" Movement. I may not be able to support the movement financially, but I will do so in my part by raising awareness and signing petitions. Racism still exists in our time, and it's a shame that people are blind to it. I hope that this movement would create peaceful negotiations, and create a more friendly environment for the world.
For this chapter: Phana and Wayo are talking to the CEO! Who do you think it is?
What could happen?
On with the story!
================================================
It was now Saturday. Phana and Wayo had a scheduled meeting with the CEO of Phana's company, regarding the "scandal" article that was published. All week long, Phana would receive looks of sympathy, some looks of lust from girls and some boys, and what seem to be greedy looks at his pockets. Phana had to maintain his friendly image, resisting the urge to scowl and bark at the offensive words that he would hear from the people around him to his fiancé. Wayo would just be deaf at the hateful words that he was hearing from his classmates. He had to physically stop both Nate, Lemon, and Ming from lauching themselves at people that would say hurtful words at them. He didn't want Ming to ruin his image as the Campus Moon for his sake. Nate and Lemon were known to become physical when they were in fights, how little the occurence might be, but it was still obvious.
"Babe are you ready yet?" Phana asked as he was fixing his hair. Even though it was a private meeting between him, his manager Mila, Wayo and the CEO. He still had to keep up with his image. He got so used to fixing himself up whenever he would go to the company, that it had become second nature to him. He knew that Mila would avoid the crowded areas to protect them both, but it still did not hurt to be presentable.
"I'm almost done. I'm so nervous P'Pha. What if they tell us to break up?" Wayo asked as he exited the bathroom, depositing the used towel in the hamper. Phana looked at his fiancé in concern and sympathy. This was the first time that he heard Wayo become so afraid for their relationship.
"You know that they would never do that. I can assure you, baby." Phana said approaching Wayo ask he hugged him from behind. Wayo inhaled the cologne that Phana was wearing, reminding him that his fiancé was just behind him. Waoy turned around and round his arms at Phana's waist, burying his face in his lover's chest. Phana had placed on of his hands behind Wayo's head, cradling it while stroking his back to comfort him.
"I hope you're right, P'..." Wayo murmured into Phana's chest. Phana had continued stroking Wayo's back and hair, whispering comforting words into his ear.
The couple stayed in that position for a few minutes before a knock on their door interrupted them. Phana had semi-yelled a "come in" knowing who was behind the door.
"Hey guys. Are you ready?" Mila asked peering through the door. She had a look of concern upon seeing Wayo buried into Phana's embrace. Phana just assured her that he was just overthinking things. Mila had approached them, not wanting to interrupt the sweet moment.
"Are you okay, Nong Yo?" Mila asked Wayo.
"I'm fine P'Mila. I guess I'm just a little scared of what could happen in the meeting with your CEO." Wayo admitted lifting his head up from Phana's chest. He wiped the few tears that escaped his eyes. Mila's expression soften upon seeing her talent's boyfriend, now turned fiancé, shedding tears. She then approached Wayo, giving him a big sisterly hug.
