"~~~~~ah. Psst... ~~~~~ah..."
You heard a voice whisper. Your eyelids fluttered open.
"Hm..? Cody..?" You muttered drowsily. "What happened?"
"You fell asleep on my lap. I didnt want to move so I slept here too. But its dawn now. If you want to continue sleeping, I'll carry you back. Or we could stay here watching the sunrise."
You loved to sleep but to miss a sunrise with The Cody Simpson for sleep, it seemed too high a price to pay. You sat up and curled your legs, bringing your knees to your chest. There was a cold summer morning breeze. You shivered.
"Cold?"
"Lil' bit."
Soon you felt something drapped over your shoulders. You turned to find Cody's blue checkered shirt around you while Cody was just wearing his grey cotton shirt.
"Cody, I might b cold but you dont have to give me your shirt!" You exclaim passing back his shirt.
"I want you to have it. Checks arent my style anyway. Besides. It suits you better."
You blush and look down, smiling softly. You knew you probably looked horrible, still wearing last night's dress and all.
"You look cute blushing"
"Stop it!" you say jokingly.
"Stop what? Admiring how beautiful you are?"
"Cody..." You say in a warning tone.
Cody grinned and turned back to watch the sunrise. He picked up his guitar and strummed it. He started to sing a very familiar tune.
"Just tell me...
Are you thinking of me
Everyday, like I think of you?
Have you replayed...
Our memories, like I do?"
"Heck yeah! You know them?"
You thought for a while. Should you tell him that Tyler was your brother? Might as well. He'll find out from Alli later anyway.
"Know them? I'm kinda...related to them... Tyler's my brother."
"Woah wait what? Tyler, is your brother."
"Yeah....." you trailed. Then, taking the guitar, you continued the song.
"If I ever see you again,
I dont know how I would react
Would you remember the times we spent together?
Would you know how much I was missing you..?"
Cody clapped when the song was over. You two talked for a little while more before going back to the cabins. You went to your cabin and tore off the dress. You jumped into the shower and took a long bath. Then you brushed your teeth, washed your face and the like. After that, you hunted through your wardrobe.
"What to wear... What to wear... What to wear today..." you sang to yourself
You decided that since you were going water skiing with Alli later, you would wear a shirt over your bikini. You wore a black and gold bikini with your favourite orange and brown checkered button down shirt over it. You took out a pair of beige shorts and wore it over the bikini. Lastly, you pulled on your brown leather flats.
Checking yourself in the mirror you nodded, pleased. You put a light touch of eye shadow and lipgloss, before taking your bag. You walk to Hailey's room, to find her still asleep.
