"Yawn..." You said, sitting up and streatching. You looked and found an arm on your lap.
"AHHHHH!" You screamed.
"Huh? Wha..? ~~~~~ah?" Cody said, sitting up, dazed.
It was Cody's arm.
"CODY! Why the hell were you hugging me?"
"Oh... erm... funny story actually..." Cody blushed, scratching the back of his head. "I woke up and you felt cold so I tried to share some body heat..."
You looked and noticed he was shirtless.
"Where TF is your shirt?"
"Look Down..."
You realised you were wearing it. For your warmth, he had sacrificed his own... Aw... You thought.
"Thanks..." You said, smiling. Then you wrapped your arms around his neck and hugged him. He hugged you back.
When you pulled away, you noticed that Cody was still holding you.
"Cody..?" You mumble
"Shhh..." Cody hushed you, putting a finger to your lips.
You looked into his eyes. Both of you were slowly filling the space between both of you....
"SPLASH!"
You and Cody broke contact at the splash. You scrambled out of the cave, Cody following closely. At the top, you saw a broken boat which had fallen from the waterfall.
"Is that a...BOAT?" Cody asked in disbelief.
"Naw... Im pretty sure its a car." You said sarcastically.
You tore off yours and Cody's shirts and waded into the water. Cody just stood there gaping like a Goldfish.
"I could use some help ya know!" You shout back.
Cody dived in and swam to the boat with you. With great difficulty, both of you pulled the boat back to shore.
"Why is there a boat here?" Cody asked
"Probably someone came a long time ago. And died. This is his boat which was tied up. The rope just broke I guess." You reply.
"How do you know?"
"Look at the make of this boat. This boat was probably made around a decade or maybe a lil more, ago. The rope used to tie the boat, judging from the bits left stuck to it...was a really strong one. It'll have taken a few years to break. Why would there be a boat tied up if there's no one to row it for a few years? The owner probably died." You state.
"Wow..."
You laughed. "Lets get breakfast!"
You ditched th boat and you and Cody went to get some fruits.
"I found some... Er... Berries..?" Cody called.
You went up and looked. You picked one and cracked it open, sniffing it. You saw a bird nearby. You threw the berry near it. the bird flew to the berry and smelled it, making sure it wasnt poisoned. Then ate it. After a while, the bird was still fine.
"Let's eat!" You exclaim.
You and Cody plucked some berries and using Cody's shirt as a basket, brought the berries to the rock on the sea.
"Mmmm! These berries are really good! They're really sweet!" Cody exclaimed
You laugh. After you finished the berries, You tore off your shirt and dived into the ocean. Cody dived in after you, laughing. Both of you swam and splashed water at each other. You were having so much fun, you didnt realise the sky was turning dark.
