Chapter 3

Still in Flashback No's POV

"Actually bears are much more delightful and superior than dogs in my opinion." Mei casually declared.

"Um excuse me, but I'm sorry- dogs are WAAAYY better. They're sweet, lovable and come in all sizes unlike bears." Yuzu began to cross her arms.

"But you're wrong, bears can depending on what type and age they are, and they CAN be sweet and lovable. They are peaceful creatures whereas dogs can be wild, unstable and chaotic at times."

Disbelief struck Yuzu," The same thing goes for bears, they can kill people. Each year they kill one or two people in Japan and injure about 10 to 20."

"Only if they feel threatened, dogs do the same but research says an average of 18.5 per year which is more than bears."

Yuzu growled and barked out another point and Mei did the same. This conversation continued for about 30 mins while Ume cooked dinner to try and avoid the conversation until Yuzu suddenly turned to her and asked the question she didn't want to hear," Aren't dogs better than bears Mama?"

"I'm uhh sorry Yuzu dear, but I a-actually think bears are um cuter..." Ume closed her eyes hoping that this would close the case but it her answer had only continued it.

"You too?! I WILL prove that dogs are better than bears!" Yuzu was shocked by her response.

"Good luck with that." Mei muttered before sipping her drink but sadly for her, Yuzu wasn't finished. She dragged Mei into their bedroom and continued. They both somehow included the debate of the pros and cons that the two animals possessed if they were pets-

Soon Mei was winning with her logical and smart points and Yuzu was having a hard time to think of some. Then Mei abruptly knocked Yuzu over with a pillow saying, "Yuzu face the facts I've won, your wrong, I'm right. So just..."

Yuzu's jaw dropped and finally submitted to defeat and unwillingly said that bear were cuter and better than dogs while Mei planted a soft kiss on Yuzu's lips,"Good girl, next time remember to NOT get in an argument on something I have a strong opinion about." With that, Mei left the room for dinner leaving a dysfunctional, blushing Yuzu.

"Well... at least I got a kiss." Yuzu mumbled, still dazed from the small action.

End of Flashback

"We can get a dog Yuzu or uhhh... a bear if that's what you want?" Mama asked. She was fine on getting pets because when I was younger, she was working as a vet for 2 years so I was used to looking after different types of animals.

"Um, I'm not quite sure. I'll ask Mei when she gets back." I replied opening a pack of Pocky.

"Okie-doky! You can tell me your decision after I get back from work, oh! And don't get into another argument kay?" Mama said preparing to leave." Bye Yuzu, love you and happy birthday again sweetie!"

"M-kay!" I replied as I stuffed my face with some Pocky sticks.

After Mama left, me and Harumin messed around for a while until she had to go as well. Great it was just me left. Where is Mei, it's been like 2 hours already. Mama did say 3 though.She probably won't be back for a while, I guess I should watch something to kill time.

I to play a movie on the TV. I scrambled through the new DVDs Sara and Nina had got me," What should I watch? Oh I got it!" I got myself comfy on the sofa and turned off the lights. I've wanted to watch this movie for a long time now, I heard it was a great romance movie! The room was dark and I saw the beginning of the movie.
