While celebrating on her birthday with Harumin, Matsuri and Ume, when Yuzu is asked what she wants for her birthday, she gets an idea for her birthday present but instead of having it for herself, she intends to surprise Mei with it on her birthday...
Ume had come home 10 minutes later and Yuzu was ready to give her answer. They both sat down at the dining table and talked," Hey Mama, I decided on which pet I want to get but just to let you know It's not gonna be a present for me."
"What do mean by that dear?" Ume furrowed her brows in confusion.
" I want the pet to be a present for me and Mei, so I've decided to pick a dark brown Pomeranian puppy since it's a dog that's similar to a bear, perfect for the both of us but I need to get the pet on Mei's birthday. I'm sorry for being picky but, will that be ok?" Yuzu fumbled with her fingers and looked at Ume with hopefulness.
5 seconds had passed with the two having a staring contest, suddenly Ume broke into laughter soon covering her mouth realizing Mei was still asleep," I actually was going to suggest that if you hadn't picked already when after I heard you and Mei bicker last week!"
"Really!" Yuzu felt relieved, she thought she was asking for too much!
"Okie-doky! I'll bring the pet on Mei's birthday but just before she wakes up. It'll be just us three on that day!"
"Sounds like a plan!" Yuzu practically couldn't contain her excitement!
