When Rose woke the next morning, she was still furious with Albus.  She rolled over in her four-poster bed and groaned at the memory of the previous night.

In the bed next to Rose's, Roxanne was sprawled, out for the count.  She had stumbled into the room after the party had supposedly ended, cursing Rose for "abandoning her" and leaving without telling her.  In her sleepy-state Rose had merely waved her away and turned her back on her.

Now, though, she distinctly remembered Roxanne being distracted by a Ravenclaw boy as Rose had fled.

She sat up in bed and ran a hand through her curls.  When her fingers got stuck in the many knots and tugs, Rose huffed loudly in frustration.

On her other side, Hannah woke at the sound.  The non-Weasley girl yawned, glancing over at Rose.

"Morning," she said.  "How was the party?"

Rose frowned.  "Quite honestly I wish I had stayed in Gryffindor Tower with you, Han."

Her friend frowned.  "Really?  What happened?"

Not wanting to get into the details that early in the morning, Rose simply shrugged.  "Nothing.  Parties just aren't my scene."

Hannah laughed lightly.  "I know.  I was surprised that you were even going!"

Rose didn't say anything.  She still had no idea what had pushed her to agree to go.  Maybe it was Malfoy's taunting that did it... or Roxanne's relentless words of encouragement... or maybe it was the fact that Rose liked that she had actually been invited for once.  Whatever the reason, she regretted it immensely.

Hannah looked over at Roxanne as the sleeping girl let out a loud snore.  Her mouth twitched into an amused smile.  "Should we wake her?"

Rose joined her in grinning mischievously.  "Allow me..."

She picked up her pillow and crept over to her cousin's bedside.  Hannah followed suit, rounding the other side.  Together, the girls raised their pillows, failing to muffle giggles.

          "Now!" Rose whispered.

She and Hannah began their attack on Roxanne, their pillows whacking their friend all over her sleeping form.

Roxanne sputtered awake, yelling her objection.  She glared at Rose and Hannah with wild hair and angry eyes.  "What in Dumbledore's name are you doing?  Can't you see I'm sleeping?"

Rose smirked.  "You're not sleeping anymore."

"No thanks to you two!" Roxanne exclaimed, burrowing under her covers once again in an attempt to go back to sleep.

When Rose lifted her pillow threateningly, she jumped out of bed.

"Okay, okay!" She grumbled.  "I'm up.  Happy now?"

Hannah giggled.  "Let's go and get some breakfast.  No doubt Lily is waiting for us downstairs!"

Roxanne groaned and held a hand to her stomach.  She had a rather queasy look on her face.  "Don't talk about breakfast.  My hangover can't take it."

Rose tutted as she pulled out her clothes for that day.  She tugged on the same jeans she wore to the party the previous night, as well as a black t-shirt underneath her favourite black hooded jumper.
