"Hood,what do we do now," Z23 whispered to Hood
"This is bad,"said Hood.We're terribly outnumbered and underpowered here.
"We need to retreat,"said the man,turning back to the forest.
"Oh,I don't think so," said the woman floating in the air,as she extended her right arm,triggering the side cannons to fire a volley of shells,landing in front of the escaping trio,blocking their escape route with a raging wall of fire.
"You made waste a lot of time chasing you through the jungle,"said the woman,getting closer towards the trio."Ah,so this is how you managed to escape so long,the otherworlder."
"What made you think I am this 'otherworlder'?I could be just a passerby."The man asked.
"Impossible,"said the woman,now floating in a very dangerous distance from him,"since you are the first male I've seen in this world."
"That will added to my list-of-important-question-to-ask-after-getting-out-of-here,"thought the man."If we survive this."
"Hey,why not join my side,"said the woman,reaching her arms towards the man.
"Think about it,we've got the superior technology and numbers,"the woman added,"We'd love to have someone of your talents on our side."
"Z," said Hood,looking like she had enough.In response,Z23 landed both he feet into the alien woman's face,sending her flying backwards.She also suddenly formed guns on her side and blasted a barrage at the woman.
"Wait,do you have them too?" He asked Hood. "Yes,but I need some time."She replied."Don't worry,I'll buy some time for you to get ready," He said while running and evading the shells already targeting him and Z23 which was cruising on the water.
"Hood,HMS Hood:Pride of the Royal Navy.Z23,first of the Type 36A destroyers.It came to realization that he was with two girls which are manifestation of WW2 warships.
A minute later,Hood signaled him she was ready.She took aim at a cruiser that was blasting away at Z23."Wait," the man suddenly interrupted,"Aim near the superstructure." Hood readjusted her aim and fire.The cruiser erupted in flame and exploded.It was a relief to Z23 but it was a problem to the man.Due to the close distance,he went temporarily deaf.
"HOOD!THAT WAS TOO LOUD.I THINK I WENT DEAF." the man screamed at Hood.
"Guys,I think we need to retreat,"Z23 piped in after severely damaging a destroyer.
"HOOD,I THINK WE NEED TO RETREAT NOW!" the man continued screaming at Hood.
As they began their retreat,the woman recovered and aimed her cannons towards the man.The shells landed near the man.The man and Hood fell.
"Take her away,I'll catch up." Said the man.Z23 leaned Hood on her shoulder and retreat to the forest.The woman was now floating in front of the man."Both of your companion have fled and you are now at my mercy." she said while leveling her guns at the man."Any last word?"She added while smirking.
"Wait,what's that?" the man said the man,pointing behind her.The woman turned around.With the distraction,he made his move.The woman looked back at the man but it was too late.He touched her left turret but was batted back by the woman."Checkmate," said the man when the woman's turret suddenly exploded,ripping her left arm in the process.The woman screamed in pain."Retreat!Retreat!" the woman ordered as a portal emerged.She and the remaining ships went inside it.
He went back to the jungle and found both of them resting behind a rock."Alright,they're gone."the man said,helping Hood to stand up."Thank you,...." Hood said but stopped."Oliver,Oliver Cunningham."The man spoke."Thank you,Oliver.I want you to take this"Hood restarted her sentence and gave Oliver a medal."You are now our commander,"
"Wait,what?" Oliver said in confusion of the many event that just happen."It's quite a long story,Commander."Hood added,furthering more Oliver's confusion."We should head back to our base before it gets dark."Z23 spoke after being too silent."And how would tha..." Oliver was suddenly hit at the head before he got to finish his sentence.
"Do you have to do that,Z." said Hood,looking at her."Well,It's not like he can walk on water or fly."Z23 replied."Now we drag him back."
