Haleigh’s POV

“I have something to tell you” seryosong sabi ni tita. Napalingon agad ako, bakas sa mukha niya ang pag ka seryoso niya. Medyo kinabahan ako sa dapat niyang sabihin. Minsan lang maging seryoso si tita. Lumapit agad ako sa kanya kung saan naka upo siya sa couch ng kwarto ko. “What is it?” tanong ko. Mas kinabahan ako . Hindi ko alam kong bakit ako kinabahan ng ganito , pero isa lang ang alam ko, hindi maganda ‘tong mangyayri ngayon.  And I know that I don’t want the outcome of this.

“It’s about your Sister”

I stunned.  My whole blood traveled to my head. When it comes to her I can’t hold anymore the demons inside me. Napatayo na ako ng marealize ko ang sinabi ni tita. “What about her?” tanong ko. “She have been abducted” tipid niyang sagot. 

“WHAT! WHEN?” sigaw kong tanong. “Few day after I called an emergency meeting. I’m-“ “Why you didn’t tell me, it’s been a week since that fucking mee-“ putol ko    sa sabihin niya pero hindi niya din ako pinatapos. “Listen first….” Cold niyang sabi. I rolled my eyes in frustration. Now I know why I felt nervous a while ago.

“I’m in an important mission, that’s why I asked to replace me. But you didn’t.  I was in Spain to deal the transactions of the guns, when I found out that your Sister was been abducted. I was supposed to get her but I realized she can handle herself. In my surprise she was collapsed in the floor. Someone inject a kind of drug that will sleep you for 24hours. A Big Drug Lords Syndicate abducted her in the reason she is a secret agent.”  She explains. I gasp when I heard secret agent. When did she become a secret agent? Never in my entire life I had considered she'll going to be an agent. Damn!

“Why didn’t you save her?” I said in cold tone, but my eyes are fuming of anger. “You didn’t accept the offer, that’s why. If I wear you, I will consent the offer so you can have her.” She said with cold but authority is shouting her position.

She is a leaverage leader of BG the secret society known as underground society that will eliminate people who’ve done wrong doings. Produce weapons that I and my gang used. They are the largest company that can crop deadliest weapon all over the world.

She has a huge connection scathed around the world that can find you in just a minute. She is that powerful. And all the position she have will be in my hands the moment I said yes. The reason why I do not accept the offer, ‘Coz I don’t want to be part of the underground society. It’s too more complicated out there, even they were the decent one. We still can’t hide the fact that they were Mafias which absolutely different from us.

“No, I can save her without the position. I do have enough connections than will find her.” Determination is on me. “Have enough connections? Are you kidding me? I didn’t know you’re a joker my dear.” She sarcastically laughs. And that’s insult me. Fuck this woman.

“You don’t have. ‘Coz if you do, she was already release by them.” She insults me again. Fuck this woman! “Why do you want me to be next leader?” I asked out of curiosity. All of people why me? Why did she have to make my sister as bait for me to eat? Goddammit!

“It’s for you to find out.” She said out of somewhere. Were the cold tone is still there. My forehead got crease. “What the fuck are you saying? We’re talking about my sister, a matter of life and death. So you should answer me properly. Dammit!” I shouted her.

I don’t care who she is or what she has. I’m not also scared of her. Fuck! “Manners dear...” she said while looking directly to my eye, who’s aiming to shot her. “Why don’t I ask her instead? She won’t think twice to agree. I presume. What do you think?” she playfully smiled.

How devil she can be? “Fuck, don’t you dare! Don’t you ever dare drag her to that fuckinh place.” I defend. I don’t want her to involve of this. It’s too dangerous out there and it’s enough that she’s already an agent

“Then choose. Be the next leader and save her or keep declining and she will die in the hands of Syndicate. Choose!” her now in vain. She blackmailed me. Fuck! I guess I don’t have choice. I breathe deep. “When are you are going signify me?” I asked in cold tone. She smiled successfully. Yes you effectively blackmailed me. Hang on their little sister; I’m going to get you. “Now”

We’re now in the conference room field with board of directors, and leaders of different mafias that under the BG. My co gangmates are also here. When they found out that I accept of handling BG, they so much glad.  She is in front while I’m in the last corner of the table. She said things that I find boring, I didn’t bother to listen. I am much preoccupied on how to save my sister. When I heard that I'm almost call I set aside my thoughts.

“– I’m proudly to present my niece, the new leader of the BG” she gladly announce. I stand up and walked towards her position. When I I’m the front, all of them stood and bow, including my gangmate and my aunt, as a sign of respect of the new leader. I smirk.

“It’s my honor to be in front of you all.” Looking to my aunt with sarcasms eyes. She just smirks. “Now that I’m already signify as a new leader.” I roam around looking their reactions. “I would like you to know that there were variations which will happen in this organisí. First thing is the name. I will going to change it-“

“That is disrespect to the previous leader. According to the BG’s manual you can-“Mr. Perez cut me. But I didn’t let him finish.  “Don’t try teach me the manual of this organization. I am superior.” I said coldly, but authority is on me. “Manners Mr. Perez, Interrupting me when I am talking is also called disrespecting to the leader” I spoke emotionlessly.

A few of the board have amusement reactions. While half of it is frighten and annoyed reactions. “And when I say variations, that will be occur as soon as possible. All of you inside this hall along with the previous leader can’t do anything about it. Adjourned.” I formally demanded. They bow once again and take the leave.

Another amusement I got with my gangmates and my aunt. Aren’t they used to it? “Should we also take our leave, Mistress?” Alexis teased me. I chuckles. Nagtawanan lang ang apat , kong ano-ano pang sinasabi nila tungkol kanina. Hinayaan ko na lang. Andito parin kami sa conference room. Nakatingin si Tita sakin, she has emotionless face that I couldn’t guess what is it. I still clearly remember of our last conversation, which is about my sister. Now what? I already do my part how about her.

“You pleased me for accepting my offer. And I’m impressed how you talk. You perfectly fit the position.” She said. We are here inside my office. It’s has modern design fainted with black and grey color with the abstract paint above the couch. A huge room you’ll define my office. “I already do my part, how about yours.” I said coldly.

“It’s too late. Don’t you think it’s a good idea if you’ll go to take your rest?” she concern suggested. What the fuck is she saying? “Woman listen, I want to know who are those bastard abducted her. I don’t care if it is late. Dammit!” diin kong sabi habang nakatingin sa’kanya. “You must really hate me for doing it, don’t you?” she asked. The fuck isn’t it obvious? “I really am. Could you just tell me where she is? I don’t wannna talk to you anymore.” Frustrated kong sabi. Kinuha kong ang wine na kanina ko inimun, at nilaguk ko ito. Damn! Napangiwi ako dahil sa init ng lalamunan ko.

“Fine, she is in New York right now together with her co agent.” She said then left. Damn. What is she doing in New York if she was abducted? Did she trick me? Fuck that woman. I’m gonna kill her.
