My alarm clocked started ringing; I knew it was time for school. But some of Elijah's friends stayed the night and they were so loud all night long. I realized we would be three people sharing one bathroom. So, I jumped out of bed to hurry to the bathroom. Luckily it was empty, so I started to get ready for the day. I went back to my room so I could find an outfit, I took my ripped jeans and a black t-shirt. I went downstairs to grab some food. When I turned the corner to the kitchen I walk right into a small guy.
"I'm so sorry" I quickly said.
"Don't worry about it, I'm Mason" he told me.
"Olivia" I replied. Elijah laughed, both me and Mason looked confused. He just kept laughing until he looked over at us.
"What? The milk carton has a joke on it" he told us. We all started laughing and went out to the car. I just grabbed an apple to eat on the way to school.
Elijah showed me the principal's office who gave me my schedule and locker combination. I looked at my schedule and found out I must find classroom 230B and I have no idea how to get there. I Saw to girls talking about they're on the way to English literature just like me.
"Excuse me" I asked.
"What's up" one of the girls replied.
"Do one you know where room 230B are" I asked.
"We're going to that room, follow us" a girl with short blond hair answered. So, I followed them to the classroom. When we arrived, I sat down next to the other girl, she has black hair and brown eyes.
"What's your name? I'm Abigail Williams and this is Sophia Davis" the girl with the black hair said.
"I'm Olivia Miller"
"Wait, are you Elijah's stepsister" Abigail asked.
"Yeah I guess" I answered.
"Oh my god he is one of the schools most popular guys" Sophia said.
"Really" I asked. They both nodded. Wait so the guys who were over at the house yesterday was the schools most popular guys? That can't end well.
Later at lunch Sophia and Abigail asked me to sit with them and I couldn't say no. It's an opportunity to make friends at school. I stopped at my locker when I remembered I didn't bring lunch. It turns out Abigail's locker was right next to mine.
"You forgot lunch" she asked when she saw how disappointed I looked. I nodded. I don't even have any cash to buy lunch.
"We can share mine. My mom always makes too much food" she laughed.
"Thank you so much" I replied. We found a table at the school cafeteria and sat down while talking about classes and teachers. I felt that weird feeling you get when someone is staring at you.
"Don't look back, but Jeremy Brown is staring at you" Sophia told me.
"Who is Jeremy" I asked. Is that the guy from yesterday who found my necklace? What was his name again? He seemed very selfish and full of himself.
"Jeremy is the hottest and most popular guy at school, he gets all the girls. They're practical throwing them self at him" Sophia told me.
"I met him yesterday, he helped me find my necklace I lost and gave me his jacket when it started raining" I told them. Sophia was totally fangirling, Abigail just nodded.
"Elijah and Jeremy are like best friends; you are so lucky" Sophia said so happy. She has the biggest smile on her face right now. I don't feel lucky, his just a boy. There is nothing special about him? Elijah and Mason came over to our table.
"Hey Oli, how is your first day" Elijah asked me. I noticed a lot of people stare at us and suddenly felt very uncomfortable.
"Fine. I made some new friends today" I told him. He nodded and made a thumbs up. I noticed Sophia staring at Mason, almost drooling. They started walking away when Elijah turned around and yelled.
"Olivia you can drive with me when school is over" I got so much attention in the cafeteria now. I wish I was back home with my dad. Reading while my head rested on his stomach. But no, I'm in a cafeteria while the whole school looks at me. I made a thumbs up and tried to hide behind Abigail.
School was over and I was on my way to the parking lot with the girls.
"See you tomorrow at the lockers" Abigail said. They both waved while going over to their bikes. I just stood there and waited for Elijah when an arm suddenly was placed over my shoulder. I looked up and there he stood. The boy with the green eyes.
"Hello Miller" he said.
"Hi" I mumbled and brushed his arm away.
"Do you want a ride home on the famous motorcycle" he asked.
"No thanks I'm waiting for Elijah" I answered.
"Too bad, all the girls would be jealous" he said and winked at me. Elijah thankfully came walking over to me and we got into the car.
"There is a big hole in your shirt Oli" he told me in the car.
"It's old I don't really have any clothing" I told him while looking down.
"Why don't you buy some" he asked confused.
"I don't have any money" I said. The rest of the car ride it was quiet and a little awkward.
The moment we stopped in the driveway I jumped out of the car and went straight to my room after saying hi to Andrew and my mom. I started reading my favorite book and relaxing in my bed. When a knocking sounded on my door.
"Come in" I yelled, and one faces suddenly appeared in the door. It was Abigail.
"What are you doing here" I asked.
"Elijah called me, he told me you needed new clothing" she told me. He did what, why would he do that. I don't have money.
"He also told me; you didn't have the money to buy clothing" she said. I froze, why would he tell anybody that I'm broke.
"He told me two" said my mom and entered my room. This is so embarrassing. My mom looked over at me and handed me a little wallet. I opened it. In the wallet a Creditcard and some cash.
"I can't take this" I told her.
"Your dad sends me this wallet, 2 months before he passed" she told me. I realized the little O on the side. It is my wallet. I have been looking for this for months.
"So, we're going shopping" Abigail said. I got up from bed and took my jacket on. I looked down myself and realized the big hole in my jacket. It doesn't matter I can buy a new, I guess. We went downstairs and I realized Elijah has all 3 boys over again.
"You can't go out with a jacket like that" Elijah said.
"It's my only jacket" I replied.
"Borrow my jersey" the guy with the green eyes said. He took it off and handed it to me. I just stood with the jersey in my hands.
"Well, take it on" he said, and I did. He gave me a wink again. I hurried out the door with Abigail and drove off to the mall in the city. Her mom drove us. This is going to be a nightmare.
