Found this adorable picture had to share. I've already written a description but... This one doesn't really fit with the story that well... Sorry!Enjoy.
Patton Heart loves his kids. He loves his husband. He loves his house. He loves his job. Even though, some nights he would come home beat down and tired, he still made time for the people he loved. He would still be there for his husband and for his Kiddo's when they needed him around. Everybody has bad days, Patton does know that all to well.
But, our story begins at the beginning. Like most stories do. Before all of the amazing things, there were hardships. We are going far enough back to when each of his children were adopted. When they could each barely walk. When they were only babies. When Patton met the love of his life. Yes we are going back, we are telling a story. A story of many lives.
Pattons eyes slowly opened as his alarm went off. He yawned and got up, turning it off. He was soon getting ready, hair brushed, teeth brushed after he ate breakfast, clothes were put on and he cleaned up a little before leaving. Patton smiled and hummed to himself as he continued to walk, finding himself in an absolutely beautiful day. The sun was out, spring was just starting up again. It was a little chilly but it had that undercoat of warmness. Patton walked into the bakery he had started up a few years ago, also enjoying the tranquility and warm welcome he received upon opening the door. For now, this was what its all about. His small bakery wasn't much... But he made enough money to support himself and even a little extra. He saved the little extra up to upgrade this one. Patton wasn't a master businessman, but, upon starting his bakery he realized he was going to need to learn a little bit more. Patton threw his apron on and washed his hands, beginning to make the usual for a couple of early customers. Those that did come here almost always came back and Patton had come to recognize each of them as soon as they walked through the door. "Excuse me?" Patton turned around. "Yes?" He asked with a smile. "Uhm... You see.. do you think you could make this?" They layed a sheet of paper down in front of Patton. Patton looked at it and immediately began mentally taking notes on what ingredients he would need and what he has to order. "Sure thing! When do you need it done?" Patton asked, looking back up at the stranger. "Maybe next week?" Patton nodded. "Alright. Anything else?" The stranger shook their head. "I'll see you then!" Patton said enthusiastically as the stranger turned and walked out of the door. After Patton had closed he sat down and began to write the things he would need to order. He had gotten a good list of cakes that he had to make and he didn't think he had all of the necessary ingredients. After checking, Patton found that he was right and then had began to write everything down. He smiled as he finished and walked out of the backroom, grabbing his things and walking out of the door. He closed and locked it behind him before looking up at it. 'It isn't much, but your making progress.' Patton told himself, turning and walking down the sidewalk seeing everyone talking to someone else. Patton couldn't help but feel a pang of jealousy. Patton shook his head. 'Not now, be happy you have what you have.' Patton nodded and opened the door to his apartment. 'Maybe instead I should start saving for a house?' Patton wasn't sure what he wanted... Well, at least not exactly.. Patton longed to start a family. He longed to not be alone anymore. It was great seeing regular customers and such but... He wanted someone to hold him. He wanted someone to be there for him when he needed them. Patton sighed. Sure, he had friends.. friends that had their own lives now. Patton just seemed to have drifted from everyone since high school ended. He didn't want to go to college, and to be honest, he probably couldn't afford it. Patton had no parents... He was an orphan raised in an orphanage. Left behind, abandoned, and he could never get anyone to adopt him.. no matter how hard he tried. Patton felt tears threaten to fall. He almost held his own, until one slipped down his cheek. He went upstairs and layed down on his bed, curling up and beginning to cry. He tries to stay happy, he tries to be positive about everything... But sometimes, he just can't. He's lost most of his friends, and those he does have don't even talk to him. Don't even make an effort to check up on him. He manages to push everyone that tries to get close to him away.... He's been lying to himself. Patton sobbed, clutching his blanket. "I-Im a liar..."
(And insert the snek boi.)
Janus.
'Im a liar.' Sure I know this by now, I've lied to make a living, lied to escape the police, lied to everyone I know. Lied to my parents.. to my friends. As Reoccurring as this thought may seem, it's been around for a while. It has been plauging me for a good week or so. Anyways, back on track Janus. I turn my attention to finishing unpacking. New city, new life. Or at least, that's how most see it. I, however do not see it as a new opportunity. Isn't it Rather odd that everything you have done in the past seems to follow you everywhere? I've discussed this matter with a few of my friends and well... I'd rather not dwell on the topic. But, in all seriousness... Everyone knows that society is a lie. Everyone should at least. We are all just little hamsters running around in a big cage, doing their job. Who am I referring to? Oh, to put it simply, we are slaves to those born richer this us, forced into poverty. They think they can control us, and most are tricked into believing that they can. But they're wrong... All of them. We make their things, if anything we have more power over them then they over us. But, everyone is lied to. Everyone is tricked into believing that if we did something wrong.. oh there would be major consequences. They can't fool me. But, I've still been following the rules of their little game. Or you could say I've bended them a little. A small laugh erupted from my throat. 'It takes a liar to know a liar.'
(Later that night.)
Emile.I awoke to a soft knocking at the door. Getting up, I slipped on Pajamas and opened the door, not seeing anyone... Then I heard a small hiccup, followed by a cry. Hello! I'm Emile, Emile Picani. I run an orphanage. Not the greatest I know but... I have helped many kids get accepted into families. I picked up the small basket, examining the swaddled baby. I noticed a letter and what looked like a small name tag. 'Virgil' Was written on it in purple letters. I brought the crying infant inside and gently shushed him before taking up the letter and grabbing my glasses to read it.
'Hello. I'm assuming by the time you've read this.. you have taken him inside. I will not reveal my name nor where I'm from or where I'm heading. I am forced to leave Virgil here on short notice. You see, I am in a bit of a rough patch with a significant other of mine, I don't want them getting drunk one night and instead of taking it out on me.. for them to take it out on Virgil. Please keep him safe, and try to find a home that will take good care of him. Please don't tell Virgil who I was... I don't want him to remember me. And as much as I hate it... I don't want him to see me. Thank you again...'
(3rd Person)
Emile sat the Letter down and nodded. He was assuming it was a teenage pregnancy.. but then again, it could be anything. Emile seems to have received numerous infants over the course of 2 weeks. He wasn't sure why, or even if their was some sort of meaning behind it. He just did his best to help. He had received at least 3 other babies. One he had been given by the mother. Saying she just couldn't afford to keep him. He had received little Logan only two days ago. Then there was the twins. Remus and Roman both shared a bond unlike no other. After being abandoned but saved by Emile. They seem to hate being separated for too long. Emile assumes this is because of their abandonment. Now they will probably only trust each other. Virgil hiccuped again and cried a little louder. "Shh... Shh... Come here." Emile cautiously picked Virgil up, trying to calm him as best as he could. Emile made him a bottle and Virgil seemed to calm down a little which confirmed Emile's suspicion. He sat down and sat Virgil in his lap, raising the bottle to his mouth. Virgil latched on almost immediately, drinking a little too fast. Emile smiled and pulled the bottle back a little so Virgil didn't drink too quickly. Emile pulled the bottle away and picked Virgil up again, burping him on his shoulder. Emile stood, hopefully he had at least one more crib. He did, but he kept little Virgil in his bedroom. Emile was also worried that Virgil would wake the others, he didn't want 4 crying babies this early in the morning. Luckily for Emile, all of them stayed asleep long enough for Emile to get the rest he needed.(That Morning.)
Remy."Em, slow down. One word at a time. I haven't had my coffee yet, you know how much of a bitch I can be." Remy took his headphones out and plugged them in, putting an earbud in one of his ears. "Okay, so let me get this straight, you got another baby to take care of at around 3 in the morning... And you want me to come help?" Remy took a deep breath. "Thank God." Remy received his coffee and took a sip. "Em, we've talked about this.. I don't need sleep." Remy rolled his eyes. "You know what? Sure, I'll be there." Remy smiled. "Alright, see ya then. Okay, Bye." He laughed a little, before trying to find his way to Emile's oprphanage. "God I love that man..."
