I spaced out for seconds, before I decided to respond.

"A-ah you are the mother of the cute baby girl, we brought her to the hospital last night" I answered, acting like normal, prentended that I know nothing. Even deep inside I felt the bitterness of my emotion.

"Y-yes, can you tell me where hospital are they"

"A-ah exactly, I was about to go to my work, I can give you a ride there" I offered and she accepted it quickly.

"Do you want to go with me?" she asked when we already arrived at the hospital

"Hindi na malalate na din ako sa work" pagtanggi ko.

Baka hindi ko kasi kayanin na makita si Jin with his whole happy family. Sure akong mabibitter lang ako.

She was about to get out of my car when she return and look at me.

"Thank you very much, uh umm can I know your name" she looks at me waiting for my reply.

"Mek, just call me Mek" I tried to smile at her.

"Thank you Mek, drive safely" sabi pa nya at tuluyan na sya lumbas ng kotse.

Wala naman sya ginagawa sakin pero bakit naiinis ako sa kanya, bakit kasi ang ganda nya. Kaya siguro sya nagustuhan sya ni Jin.

What an unlucky coincidence.

Napabuntong hininga na naman ako bago paandarin yung kotse ko.

Maybe I should avoid Jin from now on.

BUT HOW!?

Time pass so quickly and finally weekend na, I was prepairing for Sara's baby shower at kanina pa ako hindi makapili ng isusuot na damit. Parang college friends reunion na din kasi ang mangyayari dahil pupunta din ang iba namin kabarda nung college na matagal din namin hindi nakita.

Tsaka baka chance ko na din 'to, baka makakilala ako dun na mas lalamang pa kay Jin.

I chose my white ruffled dress na hindi ko pa nasusuot since nabili ko sya in an online store.

I take my time putting make up on my face. I chose the nude slighly glittery eye shadow with a little flash of highlighter on my cheeks and a sweet orangey tone liptint in my lip. I made big curl waves in my hair and braid the little portion of hair at both side of my forehead. I want to be the prettiest girl there. Prettier than Jin's wife.

GAAAAH I still feel bitterrr..

After I wore my assymetric bubble pearl earings I went to my shoe rack to wear my 1 inch brown sexy boho sandals. I kissed my two cats for a several times before I decided to go out of my unit.

I arrived at Sara's residence a minute before the event starts.

"Taray babaeng babae" pagbati sakin ni Airra, one of closest college friend.

"para makahanap ng jowaa" pagbibiro ko naman

"Meeeekkkk!" pagsalubong naman sakin ni Lysa sabay yakap.

"Wow parang hindi tayo nagkita ng matagal" bati ko naman sa kanya.

Airra, Lysa and Amanda are my closest friends in college and we are still hanging out every now and then. In short we always see each other.

"Asan si Amanda?" tanong ko nung hindi ko makita si Amanda.

"Di pa dumadating, malamang late na naman yon" sagot naman ni Airra na parang kabisadong kabisado na si Amanda.

"San kayo nakaupo?" natanong at naglakad na kami papunta sa isang table na napapalibutan ng mga pamilyar na mukha.

And I become speechless when I see Jin seating at one corner surrounded by his closest friends in college.
