Chapter 9

Camila POV:
He walked over to the couch and carefully sat me down. He grabbed the remote and tossed it to me. I caught it and looked at him confused.

Daniel: Go ahead. I'll watch whatever you want to
Camila: Even Pretty Little Liars?
Daniel: Go for it

I smiled as Daniel sat down beside me. He rested his arm around my shoulders and I turned on Pretty Little Liars. I rested my head on his shoulder and his hand moved to my waist pulling me closer to him. He gently kissed the top of my head and rested his on mine.

5 hours later....
Daniel: I'm going to go pick up the girls. Would you like to go?
Camila: Yeah. If I don't they might freak out.
Daniel: Good point, let's go

I ran my fingers lightly through my hair while Daniel looked at me with a smile. I walked toward the door behind Daniel. We walked out to his car and he opened my door for me. I got in as Daniel got in beside me. He placed a hand on my thigh and pulled out of the driveway. We listened to music and eventually got to the school to pick the girls up. They walked out with confused looks on their faces.

Grace: Why were you not at school?
Camila: A lot happened this morning Grace, don't worry
Felicity: Cami we have a few things we need to tell you
Chelsea: Felicity not now
Camila: Guys calm down. Daniel knows about us. And I know that you told Grace about so don't even try to play it off
Chelsea: Fine you got us, but how does Daniel know about us?
Camila: He's one of us
Chelsea: He has magic too?
Camila: Yes he does. He's like Grace
Chelsea: The two families?
Camila: Exactly
Daniel: I have the book too
Chelsea: Woah. Cami can we keep him?
Daniel: *chuckles* I don't plan on going anywhere
The girls: Awwww
Camila: Oh hush. Anyway, tell me what's going on
Grace: Well I had another dream last night.
Camila: What happened?
Grace: I saw you being attacked, I couldn't tell who it was though
Chelsea: She describes him and it sounds like Corbyn
Camila: Keep going Grace
Grace: Well he was beating you, but before that he was biting your neck and trying to kiss you but you wouldn't let him, you kept screaming that Daniel would be there to help you. Corbyn began beating you and you were crying a lot. He said if you don't date him he'll kill Daniel
Daniel: I'll be honest, I had a similar dream last night to, I didn't want to scare you though
Camila: Daniel, Corbyn could kill you
Daniel: Don't worry about me angel. I'll find ways to defend both of us. Grace could you recognize the place your dream happened?
Grace: It kind of looked like the janitors closet
Chelsea: That's right beside the senior lockers

My heart started racing and I felt Daniel reach for my hand. We got to our house and walked in. Daniel locked the door behind us and came into the living room. He sat down next to me pulling me close to comfort me.

Daniel: Hey we're not going to let that happen
Camila: Dani, Corbyn has first period with me, what if he does it then?
Daniel: We'll figure something out but for now you need to relax a bit.

He rubbed my shoulders gently. I relaxed slightly, allowing Daniel to keep massaging my back. He kissed the back of my neck gently sending shivers down my spine. I looked over at the girls who had smiled on their faces watching Daniel. I smiled, knowing that they finally excepted him. I felt Daniel slipping my jacket off of my shoulders and he placed it beside us. He continued rubbing my back.

Chelsea: Cami, I can tell you right now that Daniel is perfect for you
Felicity: He did get you to lighten up a bit
Grace: And you're not acting like you did in my first dream

I smiled knowing that they were right. I felt Daniel's arms snake around my waist and I felt his head on my shoulder. The girls smiled even more. They giggled slightly not wanting me to hear. Daniel chuckled at their response. I looked down at him and met his ocean blue eyes looking back at me.

Daniel: *whispers* How about we see how they respond to this

He leaned up moving his hands from my waist. He placed a hand on my chin pulling me closer to him and slowly closed the gap between us. I heard the girls gasp and a smile form on Daniel's face. We pulled away and I snuggled into Daniel's chest.

Felicity: It's perfect!!
Chelsea: Sure is
Camila: Hey girls, how about we go get some ice cream
Grace: Ice cream?!!!
Daniel: You want some ice cream Grace?
Grace: I love ice cream!!!
Camila: Well let's go then

Daniel grabbed my jacket and put it over my shoulders and I pulled my arms through it. We walked out and Daniel unlocked his car. We all jumped in and left to go get ice cream. I felt Daniel's hand on my thigh like always and looked back at the girls to see their reaction. Grace smiled brightly, Felicity gave a thumbs up and Chelsea winked with a small smirk on her face.

Chelsea: So Cami, when were you going to tell us about you and Daniel kissing in the car before school?
Felicity: Wait what?!
Chelsea: After we let you and Grace out I got out of the car and looked back to see that they stayed in the car and Daniel kissed Cami
Felicity: Why didn't you tell us
Camila: Figured you'd be mad at me
Chelsea: We're not mad, we love you two together
Felicity: But why didn't you tell us sooner?
Daniel: Ok I did kiss Cami but I didn't know that Chelsea would be stalking us *chuckles*
Chelsea: Oh please Daniel
Camila: Dani she can be worse than Vanessa sometimes
Daniel: Oh that's bad
Chelsea: Yep so you better watch out Seavey

He pulled into the parking lot and turned around toward the girls

Daniel: Should I?
Chelsea: Yes you should

We all laughed and walked onto the ice cream parlor. Grace was all over the place trying to pick out her ice cream. Most of us had already finished though. We were all laughing when someone walked through the door.
