This story was intending to follow on from the ending of Hannibal (2001) with Anthony Hopkins as Hannibal Lecter and Julianne Moore as Clarice Starling.
However, two things happened.
1) The movie ending was so different to the book ending that I was annoyed with it. It seemed completely out of character for Lecter, considering he had picked his handcuffs in Silence of the Lambs.
2) I found a video - which I have included the link to above - where they filmed a different outcome for Hannibal Lecter. I enjoyed this outcome more, as it left the story of Dr Lecter and Clarice Starling open.
And so, the original draft I wrote and published as Return of the Lambs changed.
This story does not follow the TV series with Mads Mikkelsen, though I may make one in the future. I enjoyed both interpretations of Hannibal Lecter.
