There's a reason why families never make it out together.

The black-haired male observed with great amusement as Kabuto desperately tried to teach Haru the basics of medical ninjutsu, the said male sputtering at the unique ways that she had messed up. The pale man's yellow eyes scanned his normally calm assistant, a bit amazed by the fact that Haru had pushed him enough to break his level-headed side.

The only female of the three had tried to perform a light coating of healing chakra over her left hand, and had utterly failed by setting her hand on fire.

The gray-haired male quickly dumped a large bucket of water over her, having done so several times already in that day alone. The fire sizzled out, leaving no visible burns.

The highly frustrated Kabuto growled out, "Separate your normal chakra from your healing chakra, then coat your hand with a light layer of the healing portion, just enough for it to be visible."

"I can't." the girl replied bluntly, her face in a deadpan expression.

"Why?! Your chakra control is excellent, and you can split your chakra internally! Why can't you do it on the outside?!" Kabuto retorted, frustration rolling off of him in waves, breaking his normally cool facade. "It shouldn't be that difficult!"

As they broke into a heated argument, Orochimaru on the sidelines stood forgotten, wondering whether he should be amused or offended.

He went with the former, deciding to let the two humor him. However, the snake sannin did wonder why Haru, who had very well refined chakra control, couldn't pull something like this off. The fire was another matter, because for one to fail at medical ninjutsu might have indicated that their chakra was more suited for combat, but for someone's hand to ignite on fire was a first, even for him.

He gave a smirk toward the Uchiha heiress, running several possibilities through his head.

Perhaps things were going to get interesting for both him and the female.

Itachi bit into his ninth multicolored dango stick, his blue partner sitting across from him doing the same.

It had been around a year since he had dropped Haru off at Otogakure, a year since he had last seen her. He wondered if he should visit soon, to check on her to see how she was doing. The raven haired male didn't trust Orochimaru, especially not with the last female Uchiha, not with Sasuke's niece, and definately not with his daughter.

As he mulled over his thoughts, his parter peered at him with interest, his big grin still present on his face. Kisame had never seen his companion so engrossed in his thoughts, and definately not engrossed enough to not notice how he had taken the last dango stick as Itachi still munched on his ninth one.

He shrugged, assuming that Itachi wanted some time to himself and opened the mission scroll assigned to them, reading up on the details. His bandaged sword, Samehada, was laid on his lap, not having been active since it had sucked up some Iwa nin's chakra a few hours back.

It seemed that they were travelling to Otogakure to capture a certain female Uchiha.

"Itachi..." Kisame began, his grin still plastered on his face. "Do you, by chance, know someone by the name of Haru Uchiha?"

The shark-like man noted how his partner immediately snapped back into focus, as well as how he tensed up at the mention of her name. This raised his curiosity, the blue male staring at him in a questioning manner.

"And I thought you killed all of them..." he continued, not taking his eyes off of the male, "Maybe you missed one?"

He watched patiently as Itachi put down his almost finished dango stick, awaiting an answer.

The Uchiha closed his eyes, giving his  Sharingan eyes a breather. "Maybe." he replied, eyes still closed, thinking of that very girl, hoping that Orochimaru would move her to another location before they arrived.

Kisame knew he was lying, but didn't push it. He knew better than to tick off the raven haired male in front of him. "Alright." he said curtly, standing up and swinging Samehada over his shoulder. "Let's get going."

Itachi watched his comrade as he walked away, quickly slipping a note to Shisui's crow.

It flapped its black wings and took off, the Sharingan gleaming from one eye and a normal black from the other one as it raced off to Otogakure with a message, trying to get there before the two Akatsuki members could.

In the middle of their argument, Haru felt a shiver run down her spine, sending goosebumps all over her body.

"Hey! Pay attention, or you'll never get it!" Kabuto babbled, exasperated. He shut up when he didn't hear a reply, sending an irritated glare at the ravenette. "Haru!"

"H-hey..." Haru whispered, a creeped out expression on her face, "I feel like someone's watching me..."

The gray haired male told her to toughen up and ignore it, blaming it on a breeze. Haru retorted with a sharp tongue, the entire conversation spiralling into an argument.

However, Orochimaru knew better than that, for he had just spotted a jet black crow flying overhead, a ribbon and a piece of paper tied to its right leg as it silently landed on his shoulder. He untied the ribbon, cursing at Itachi for the irritatingly tight knot. He unfurled the paper, his yellow eyes skimming over the information.

"Both of you." he spoke out, his voice slick as he straightened up, shooting a glance at the bickering people in front of him. "Let's head inside."

Hi.

Let me clarify.

When they call Haru the 'Uchiha heiress', I mean that Itachi was the heir, which would have made him the clan head. After him would be his eldest child, which would be Haru.

Sorry if you guys were confused.
