Who would have thought that Love would make her loose her fin.

Once upon a time there was a young mermaid called Chaeyoung. Many mermaids also knew her as Rosé, mostly because her tail had this pinkish coral color that reminded them of a beautiful rose.

Her coral colored tail whipped up and down swimming along with the fishes. Her shiny red hair swayed around in the water as she played with one of them.

"Joohwangie, have you seen Jennie unnie today? I can't find her." She asked the fish.

"I think she is hanging up with Jisoo on land again." The femaile frowned when she heard him talk.

"Alight i guess I will go search for her. Wish me good luck joohwangie." She patted her friend on the head and swam away into the endless of the ocean.

The water was getting shallower and shallower with every meter she swam.

Her blue eyes scanned the path before her and it seemed like she was on the right way.
She could see the sun shining through the surface of the water already.

Chaeyoung carefully peeked her head out of the water and looked if there were any humans.

Luckily it was mid December in Jeju, cold enough for people to avoid the beach.
Still, She could spot an old man who was busy sleeping while waiting for any fish to fall for his ridiculous trap.

She didn't like fishers, only the thought of them was enough to make her eyes roll at the back of her head.

They are exactly the reason why she always teaches the fishes in her area to avoid any shiny metal stuff.

'How could people even eat these beautiful creatures?'

quickly she turned away and dived back into the water. A few moments later she found a place to safely transform.

The mermaid rested her back against a big rock for support while she kind of struggled dragging her lower body out of the water.

Her fish scales slowly vanished and her tail formed two long legs. the upper part of her tail formed into a loose rose colored dress which luckily was long enough to cover her knees.

Her hair magically turned black and eyes changed to brown since mermaid's try to gain as less attention as they can.

Since walking barefoot on the rusty streets of Jeju was pure torture for her she searched for a pair of shoes.

Her legs wobbled as she stood up and walked a few steps. Damn she was not used to legs.

a pair of abandoned white sneakers caught her eyes.

Chaeyoung quickly put them on while having a hard time tying shoelaces. Finally she was finished and went straight to the food market that was somewhere near the beach.

She could already sense their friends presence as she looked around in the crowd.

"JISOO! JENNIE!" She jumped up and down in hope to get their attention.

They both turned around and smiled seeing their Rosé running towards them.

"What are you guys doing here it's almost evening. Jennie, we have to go back." The younger said.

"But we are having a lot of fun right now..." Jennie frowned.

"But we have to go what if we get exposed??"
