After a dreamless night, I started my day early. I started my day like normal, dreading getting out of bed, but I finally got to my feet. I immediately put my clothes on, not knowing what to choose, I decided just on a army green sweater and black jeans. I finished getting ready for the day and then, my dad stopped me when I met him in the kitchen and he asked me, "Do you still want to find where Everton Stone is, Dove?" "Yes, dad I do and I'm not giving up." "You're wasting your time, Dove." How much more humiliation could I take this week? It's only Monday for gods sake.

I was on my way to the local library to get a phone book to try and locate where Everton Stone lived so I could try to possibly track him down. I walked my way down the side walked street, cars passing me and giving me odd looks. I never fit in here in Portland. I have very dark hair and I'm quite tan. No one is tan here. I had finally made it to the library, which means I don't have to wear this rain straight jacket anymore.

One thing I liked about Portland, was it's library. It's was a grey, stone building with a massive front door that creaks when you open it, alerting the librarian at the front desk that you have came in. They are all very sweet in this library, even though they run on low funds. Good people, way better than the people who torment me about my dead mom.
