The next morning, Zoe came over and we were playing around with lighters. All my security knew that we had problems with lighters and we should be kept away from them. By problem... I mean we love them too much. We were watching the flames dance around when James and Michael walked in.

"Nope," they threw the lighters aside and on the floor. Zoe and I raced to them and were held back. We were screaming and tried to get to them, but security held us back. That's when the Sway boys walked in.

"Let me go!" I screamed.

"No!" James shouted and I kicked him in the shin. I fell forward and grabbed the two lighters.

"Run, Sophie, run!" Zoe yelled and I ran up the stairs. Zoe was let go and James and Michael ran behind me. I got to my balcony and dropped the lighters down to Zoe. I jumped down and we ran past Sway. We went to leave out the front door but realized there was security blocking us both ways.

"We'll take those," Michael said and we pouted. They walked away and I looked at the boys.

"Hi..." I said.

"I'm gonna go home and play with another lighter," Zoe muttered and ran out.

"What was that about?" Jaden asked.

"I have a thing about lighters. I shouldn't be around them," I shrugged. "So, what's up?"

"We thought we'd just come over," Griffin said, sitting down on the couch. The boys joined him and I sat next to Bryce. The guys wanted to order pizza for lunch since they were starving, so I let them. I paid and we went back to Sway afterward. Quinton, Josh, and Griffin were playing video games, Jaden was being lazy in his room, Bryce was just sitting around in his room, Kio was at his mom's place, and Anthony had gone to the Hype House. I jumped on Bryce's bed and he had no reaction to me.

"Bryce!" I said and no response. "Hey!" Nothing. "Catch me if you care about me." I dropped backward and he caught me, setting me on his lap and smiled.

"What?" He asked.

"Hi," I tilted my head and he went in to kiss me. "No!" I yelped and got up.

"You're such a kid!"

"I know." He puckered his lips and I quickly kissed him. "I'm bored."

"What do you wanna do?"

"Do you have a lighter?"

"Yeah."

"It'll keep me busy." I took it and ran to the living room. I was playing around with it and the guys soon sat with me. "Wanna see something cool?" I made a perfect smoke ring from the lighter. I threw it back to Bryce and he pocketed it, watching me. The guys saw but didn't say anything. We sat in awkward silence and Bryce broke.

"I kissed her," he said and everyone looked at me.

"Is it official?" They all yelled and I stayed quiet, looking down.

"Bryce! You didn't ask her?" Griffin yelled.

"This is why he's a pussy," Josh said.

"Okay, fine!" Bryce came over to me and was a bit awkward. "Will you be my girlfriend?"

"Yeah," I smiled and everyone cheered.

"Okay, so I've claimed her. Back off, boys," he said and sat next to me. I ended up taking a small nap in his room and it was night when my eyes fluttered open. "Hey," Bryce was sitting up in front of me. "I already texted James and told him you were staying for the night." I hummed and sat up. I straddled him, koala hugging him, then fell asleep resting my chin on his shoulder.

"Is she asleep?" I heard Quinton asked.

"I think so..." Bryce whispered. "You have no idea how happy I am."

"All you do is talk about her. Now you have her."

"Yeah. But isn't she adorable?"

"I don't know how to answer that... But yes?" I felt Bryce kiss my shoulder.

"I don't know how I'm gonna sleep."

"You never sleep, dude," Josh whispered. "Just set her aside."

"I just got her. Literally the girl of my dreams," Bryce chuckled. "I wanna hold on forever."

"When did you get so cheesy?"

"Shut up." I shifted a little and Bryce went quiet. He noticed I stopped and continued. "I don't say anything about you and Nessa."

"Okay, fine." The door shut and Bryce sighed. He slowly stood and set me to lie down. My eyes opened a little and he pet my head.

"Shh."

"Mh," I hummed and tugged at his hoodie.

"Okay. Okay." He lied down and I cuddled with him. In the morning, he was still asleep, so I painted his nails red and blew on them to dry them. He woke up when they were dry and glared at me.

"Hi," I waved.

"I was thinking... are we gonna announce us?" He asked.

"I was thinking we should wait a bit..."

"Ease into it?"

"Yeah." He opened his arms and pulled me onto him. I kissed him and held on for a bit. "Are you gonna get up?"

"Mh-Hm. Wanna work out with Griffin, Jaden, and me?"

"You three should come to the gym at my place," I said.

"Okay. Tell them while I get ready." I told Jaden and Griffin and the 4 of us drove back. We worked out and I let the guys take showers. We got bored and Bryce got a whole bottle of whiskey from a cupboard. We sat in a circle passing it around and soon finished it. Jaden was humming Comatose and I had an idea. I had someone get the karaoke machine and had Jaden sing for my entertainment.

"Why don't you sing?" Griffin asked me.

"I don't do karaoke," I shook my head.

"Oh, come on. It's kinda like acoustic," Jaden said.

"They'll start using musical terms and neither of us will understand," Bryce told Griffin.

"Do, like, a new song." I took the mic and sat on the arm of the couch.

"Do you guys want a sneak peek of a song I'm thinking of?"

"Yeah, sure," Griffin shrugged. I sang the chorus of a song I would call Good in Goodbye. They liked it and they all made fun of Bryce in Still Softish.

"Wait, how do you feel about Still Softish?" Bryce asked me.

"I haven't seen or listened to it," I said.

"Right. Too famous," Jaden said. They played it for me and I looked at Bryce.

"Your head had a seizure," I stated and they all laughed.
