"Calm down, Dipper," Mabel said. "You're thinking about this too much."
Dipper continued to pace around the room. "How-- How could Wendy and Robbie start dating again? And just when I thought I finally had a chance...! Dang it!"
Mabel sighed heavily. "You know, Dipper. I really think you should just stop chasing after her. I mean, I thought were already over her."
Those words made Dipper stop in his tracks. "What?"
"It's been years since we've last been here, Dipper. You should just move on."
"I can't do that, Mabel! I'm so close!"
"Are you, Dipper? Are you really?" she said. "You're a wreck when you try to talk to her. She never seems to treat you as more than a friend. At times, you're adventure buddies. But that's as far as it goes. I know it hurts, but face it, Dipper. You and Wendy... might not ever happen."
"Since when have you stopped supporting me?"
Mabel lifted her head in disbelief. "Stopped supporting you--?"
"Mabel, would it kill you to encourage me? You're supposed to be my twin sister! Support me! Instead, you're telling me to give up?"
The female Pines twin scoffed and got up from her bed, putting her hands on her hips. "I'm telling you to stop with your fantasies! I am your twin sister! And your twin sister doesn't want you to get hurt!"
"Hurt by what, Mabel? The only thing that's hurting me right now is how unsupportive you're being!"
"You know what, Dipper? Forget it! Chase after Wendy! I'm sorry that you can't handle the truth! But, don't come crawling to me when you find out that a relationship with Wendy just won't work out!" she shouted and stomped out of the room.
"Mabel--"
Dipper flinched as the door slammed behind her. He stood there in silence before letting out a frustrated sigh and flopping back onto his bed. He curled into a ball with his blanket. He thought about what Mabel had said...
"No...! I can't think like that...! I've waited this long... I have to try..."
Meanwhile, downstairs...
"Ho-ho, hey--" Soos started before he was interrupted.
"Arghhh!!" Mabel shouted as she tugged at her long brown hair.
"Whoa. What happened to you?" Soos asked, concerned as to why she was mad.
"It's Dipper! He's being stupid!"
"Stupid?"
"I've been in enough relationships to know when ones just won't work out! I'm sick and tired of hearing him obsess over Wendy!"
Soos stroked his chin as he listened. "Yeah. I see what you mean, dude," he said, narrowing his eyes. "Dipper hasn't made a move on Wendy."
"Exactly! He's an idiot!"
"Hmm..."
"What's all the yelling? I'm trying to run a business here!" a voice shouted before it revealed itself to have been Stan. "I'm not even gonna ask. Soos, I need you to go help M/n!"
"Yes, sir, Mr. Pines! Sorry, Mabel. But...duty calls!" Soos put his arms in front of him, posing like a flying superhero. "Soos! Away!"
Stan rolled his eyes as Soos exited the area making flight noises. "What's the matter, kid? Don't you see you're killing my business here with all that yelling?"
Mabel crossed her arms. "It's just Dipper...! He's so obsessed with this girl he likes...!"
"So... it's annoying you?"
