(A/n: Hello! This is my first haikyuu fanfic so please be gentle with me! Hope you enjoy!!)

Third-person POV-

The team was practicing extra hard after they had just lost the inter high prelims. The Karasuno team was doing a three on three Mach before the end of the day came. Kageyama had just set to the ginger spiker but just before Hinata hit the ball he let out a blood curdling scream and fell to the floor, missing the ball. Hinata sat up and was now on his knees. Suga ran over to him first the others quickly followed. He was sitting with his legs underneath him and his hands on the the floor, he was crying a river and breathing heavily. They team asked if he was ok but he never answered them. Hinata suddenly stood up and walked to the door before collapsing on the grass. He sat crying, pulling out the grass to distract himself from the pain. None of them knew what was happening, not even Hinata, they all stood at the door not wanting to disturb the distressed ginger. Suddenly Hinata felt something warm trickling down his back he reached to feel wear it was coming from but all he felt was feathers. The others stood there stunned at the sight they were seeing. Suga quickly ran over to Hinata who had fainted and took him inside so Coach Ukai and Kiyoko could help him. Suga lied the boy on his stomach and Kiyoko bandaged him up while the others watched in horror as their little spiker was cared for. Asahi, being the baby that he is, fainted from seeing all the blood but the others knew he was fine.

~~~~TIME SKIP~~~~
They had all gone back to practice but they still worried for the boy who was now lying with his head on Kiyoko's lap. He was still fast asleep and Tanaka and Nishinoya where still a little jealous that he got to be so close to Kiyoko. The boys finished up their game and started talking about new strategies that they can use coming up to the spring tournament. Everyone was sitting in front of the coach except for Hinata who was still asleep on the bench. Coach Ukai was in the middle of explaining a new technique when they heard the flapping of feathers coming from where Hinata was supposedly asleep. They all quickly turned to see Hinata confusedly flapping his new wings. Hinata stood up and examined the wings. His wings were pitch black like a crow's and were twice as long as he was tall. He didn't notice the other club members had started staring at him so he flapped the wings as hard as he could. They lifted him into the air only for him to come back down with a thud. They all ran over to him and checked if he was ok. That's when the team noticed his eyes. They were now no longer the natural burgundy colour they once were but they were now bright blue, his pupils no longer human and more catlike. They all stiffened making Hinata tilt his head in confusion. Hinata didn't like how they were looking at him so he wrapped his big wings around him to shield himself from their stares. They all stood up straight to make sure Hinata felt safe except for one person. Tsukishima, they all looked at him confused on why he was still crouched in front of Hinata. They were confused on why he looked genuinely concerned for the short boy. Tsukishima reached out and moved Hinata's wings so that he could see the boy. Hinata was sitting with his head on his knees. His breathing was slow and Tsukishima leaned closer to see if the sorter boy really was asleep. He tapped his shoulder but to no avail, the boy was still sound asleep. Tsukishima moved closer and slipped his hands under the boy's knees to pick him up. He gently lifted the boy off the cold ground and into his arms. Hinata was still fast asleep and he unknowingly grabbed Tsukishima's shirt and pulled himself closer to the taller boy. The team chuckled at his actions and Tsukishima blushed at the boy and took him over to the benches and went to put him down on the bench. Tsukishima leaned down but the shorter boy reached up and latched himself onto the blonde. Tsukishima smiled slightly but quickly returned to his normal expression and sat down, careful not to wake the boy. Some of the team looked at him slightly angry while others tried hard not to laugh at the tall boy's sudden caring for the ginger. Tsukishima tried to pry the short boy off of him but he, like a monkey holding onto a tree, wouldn't let go. The tall blonde looked pleadingly at the third years, Daichi looked at the helpless ginger in the tall blonde's arms. The captain turned to Suga who nodded and walked over to Tsukishima. "Go ask Kageyama if he knows where Hinata's house is and take him there." Suga said looking sympathetically at the taller boy. He nodded and walked over to the raven haired boy, Hinata still in his arms, and asked if he knew the small boy's address. Kageyama looked up at the boy angrily and said yes and told him what it was. Tsukishima walked away and got Hinata's and his stuff and started walking out the door. "Wait! Tsukishima hold on!" He turned around and saw Nishinoya running over to him. The short boy stopped in front of him holding up a blanket that Kiyoko had supposedly given him to give to Tsukishima. The tall boy looked confused at first but then he explained that it was so that he could cover the boy's wings so he didn't get super weird looks. He thanked him and took the blanket and proceeded to put it over the small boy to hide his wings. He waved to everyone and walked out the door. The others watched him walk out. After he was out of sight the others turned to each other and started asking questions. Kiyoko talked over everyone and explained that there are a rare few people that have wings and that there is a way to conceal them but the person has to be conscious. They all packed up and started their way home. They said their goodbyes and locked up the gym. When they went their seperate ways they all had two questions, Is Hinata ok? And why did Tsukishima change so much?
