A MURDER OF CROWS Hinata x Haikyuu (wings au)

Part 5 training camp

(a/n; finally we are up to the main part of the story!!! I'm glad y'all are enjoying this story, now back to our favorite volleyball boys)

Third-person POV~

From that day on the team trained for the next two weeks before the training camp. They trained extra hard, especially Hinata, they worked on things that they really, really needed to work on. They mostly did receive drills but they had to in order to make a good impression on the teams. Even though it was just a training camp they still wanted to win at least a couple of games. After school Hinata would practice flying with his new wings. Even though he had, had his wings for a couple of weeks he still couldn't fly properly. 

~time skip to the day of the camp cuz I'm lazy af~

It was around 3 am and they were waiting for Hinata. Most of them were early but it was getting to the time that they had to leave. Suga checked his phone to see if he had gotten any messages from the orange sunshine. They waited a couple more minutes for him. Daichi decided to get everyone on the bus and out of the cold. He was the only one that was outside the bus except for Tsukishima. They waited in silence for a couple seconds before they heard someone panting. They both looked around but there was no one there, or so they thought, suddenly Hinata jumped down from the top of the building in front of them. He glided to the ground but failed the landing and fell on top of Tsukishima. Hinata scrambled off of Tsukishima before apologizing to him and putting stuff on the bus. He walked over to Daichi and apologized for being late. The captain said it was fine and they all got on the bus. Since Hinata and Tsukishima were last on the bus they had to sit next to each other. Hinata took the window seat and promptly fell asleep. Shortly after Tsukishima felt something lean on him. He looked down to see Hinata leaning on him, fast asleep, the blond smiled a bit before putting his arm around the small boy and his wings and fell asleep too.

It was now around 6 am, some people were awake now that the sun was up. Daichi and Suga were up and they were whispering about what was planned for the camp. Tsukishima had woken up shortly after the sun came up. Hinata was still asleep next to the tall blonde. Tsukishima smiled at the sleeping boy and scrolled on his phone until they got to the camp. 

Hinata's POV~

I woke up with the sensation of someone lightly shaking me. I fully opened my eyes and looked out the window to see that the bus had stopped moving, "we're here dumbass." A soft voice said before patting my head. I looked up to see Stingyshima walking away. I stood up and noticed everyone was either already outside or was just getting off the bus. I looked out the opposite window to see all of the members of Nekoma were already there. I immediately got up and run off the bus. I stood just at the last step so I could get a better view of who was there. My eyes sparkled when my eyes landed on the familiar head of grey hair that belonged to none other than Lev Haiba.

"LEV!" He turned to me. I started running over to him. Everyone was looking at me but I didn't care. I dropped the bag I was holding and jumped into his arms, he caught me and we started spinning around. Everyone was confused about how we knew each other. I squeezed him tight before he put me down. We turned to the rest of the team, they all looked beyond confused, and explained that we are cousins. ( as much as I love Levhina I wanted them to know each other beforehand to make stuff more interesting lol) I turned to him and that's when the yelling started between us. I was shouting at Lev for not telling me that he went to Nekoma and Lev shouting at me for not telling him I had wings. "I DON'T HAVE YOUR NUMBER!" We both shouted at the same time. We both laughed at our silliness. I turned to the rest of the team who were still surprised by our silliness. "Guys what are we waiting for?! Let's go!!" I jumped around in an excited fashion. I grabbed the bag I dropped and jumped on Lev's back, "onward!" He laughed and grabbed my legs before starting to walk to where we would be staying. 

Third-person POV~

the Nekoma team showed the crows where their rooms were. Hinata only had another suitcase that wasn't as heavy as Daichi thought it was going to be. As Kuroo got to the main door of the Karasuno rooms he opened the door met with Lev pinning Hinata to the ground by his wrists above his head. They were both panting heavily and smiling at each other, Hinata was giggling. Lev heard the door open and looked over to see Kuroo and a couple members from Karasuno in the doorway. He hesitantly took his hands off Hinata's wrists and stood up holding out a hand to help the shorter boy up off the ground. Lev looked at Hinata in a jokingly angry way, "don't try and ruffle my hair again Shoyo. You know we aren't kids anymore." He said. Hinata pouted and ruffled his feathers threateningly. Lev laughed and looked at the two teams. "Oh, yeah I should probably leave so you guys can get settled," Lev started scratching the back of his neck sheepishly. He said his goodbyes to Hinata and the team and left for Nekoma's room.  Nekoma's team except for Kuroo followed him back to their room. The crows all went into the room/rooms. There were a couple of separate rooms that just had beds in them. There was one room that just had a king bed in it and a bedside table. the other rooms had around 3-4 beds in them and there were 3 of those rooms. The main room when you first walk in is pretty big. There was a couch, a tv, a coffee table, and the door that lead to a small bathroom on one side of the room, and on the other side, there was a table and a very small kitchen. They decided to divide the rooms into year groups so first-years to one room etc. They all put their stuff down in their respective rooms. Hinata was first done so he ran out of his room only to be met by Kuroo still standing in the front doorway. "Hinata I want you to meet someone, I think you will really like him." he started to walk in the direction of the __________ rooms. He made a motion signaling Hinata to follow him. He did what he was asked and followed the tall captain to the unknown destination.

kind of in Hinata's POV~

After walking for a couple of minutes they came to a stop. Kuroo knocked on the door and someone who had shortish black-blue hair answered the door. He talked to Kuroo in a monotone sort of bored voice. He was about as tall as Kageyama. He stood beside the captain and listened to their conversation until a loud voice interrupted them. "Bokuto! just the guy I was looking for," Kuroo said after hearing his best friends voice. "Yo come here I have someone I want you to meet." Bokuto walked over to the door, at this point Akashii had left the two third-years to talk.  Bokuto came over to the door but didn't see Hinata slightly behind Kuroo. Kuroo noticed this and moved Hinata so that Kuroo was behind the short boy. Hinata looked up at Bokuto. He was wearing casual clothes but there were two things that Hinata noticed about Bokuto, his bright yellow cat-like eyes and his GIANT owl-like wings. They stared at each other in complete shock. "YOU'RE JUST LIKE ME!" Bokuto shouted. Hinata jumped at his sudden shouting and laughed. Bokuto stepped into the hallway and shut the door behind him. Bokuto spread out his wings to full length, "pretty cool right?" He folded his wings again and spun around so that Hinata could get a good look at the owl's wings. His eyes sparkled as he showed off his own crow-like wings. "That's so cool! Yours look like an owls!" Hinata said excitedly. they continued to talk but they had to meet everyone for lunch so they walked to the mess hall together.
