Chapter 2

Once I reached Olivias car she could tell something was wrong from the puffy eyes I had from crying "are you ok kk"said olivia (kk is Kendall's nickname) yea I'm fine I said with a straight face "are you sure you look like you've been crying??" I'm fine! I said half yelling. I immediately after apologized for yelling "it's ok but seriously girl what's on your mind" she said as we reached are dance studio umm just boy problems I said making up a lie so I didn't have to tell her what was really going on as we walk in the studio "oh that sucks kk, is it Colin again?" She said. Colin was my ex we dated for two years and just recently broke up because I found out he was cheating on me it took me a month to get over him but he's still not over me. He begs me to get back with him but I turn him down every time some times I feel unsafe like he's stalking me from the way he texts me and stalks my social media's "yea" I say "when is he gonna learn to just get over me if he loved me as much as he said he did he wouldn't have cheated on me" I said while chuckling a little "Exactly girl!!! Now stop focusing on him and let's get dancing!!" she said excitedly while putting on her jazz shoes.

I have always been a little jealous of Olivia I mean she had the perfect life a boyfriend who loved her and parents and talk about how rich her parents were she always had new dance stuff while me on the other hand was trying to live off of 20 dollar leotards from Walmart.My dad never bought me new dance stuff he just used his money to buy drugs and alcohol if I wanted something I had to figure out a way to get money for it and that's hard considering I'm a 19yr old working at ulta part time.

My thoughts were soon interrupted by my dance teacher walking in the room saying she had an announcement. I wasn't very exited considering most of her announcements were about her children but I had to listen or I would have to condition for 30 minutes of class "ok class I have a very special announcement" she said " I will be picking 5 students drum roll please" she said while slapping her legs "to go film a video in la with Jordan matter!!and some famous dancers!!" Me and Olivia squealed at the thought of us maybe having a chance to dance with famous dancers!! "Ok I will be picking the winners out of a hat so come write your name down on a piece of paper if you would like to enter!" Me and Olivia rushed over to the table and wrote our names down "I can't believe this" said Olivia "me either imagine we actually get picked!!!!" I said while jumping up and down "I know right"she replied

There were only 20 kids in my dance class which gives me kind of a good chance of winning and it seemed that not everyone in the class got up to put there name in the hat therefore I was so exited!! "Alright class I with be picking the winners at the end of class" said my dance teacher "ugh I can't wait" me and Olivia both whispered in sink then began to giggle
