Pin got up from the table and started walking toward the door.

"You're just going to leave? Do you even know your way back?" Zoe asked

"Pretty sure I can figure it out Zoe" Pin pulled open the door and hesitated for a moment. "I just need to take a walk ok?"

Zoe stood up and grabbed her bag. She wasn't far behind Pin but he was already out of sight when she reached the door.

She wanted to call someone. She wanted to run to Raven but he was across the ocean and it was 1 am there. Zoe considered calling Marcus... Only to check up on Raven. She knew he would answer his phone but also knew that he would hear her frustration and make her talk about it. And she didn't want to talk about Pin to Marcus. That's for sure.

She decided she wanted to go for a short walk too. Only she had to make sure Pin didn't show up before her back to the house or her parents would definitely be worried. Around the block would be ok. It was later but the city still had the streets lit up and there were still plenty of people walking around.

Zoe knew she had an issue just saying what came to mind. That's always how she was. Pin had to accept that about her. He had told her that he appreciated her honesty. She just couldn't believe they were arguing about money. She was only 16, almost 17, and Pin was 18. People at their age shouldn't be worried about money. She knew that Pin didn't have much of anything growing up, that's why him getting into Holloway was such a big deal. Except there he was spending the schools money on fancy horses and clothes due to scholarship.

The Duke thing was a big deal to him. The status, the money, the *gulp* Castle. But at the same time, her independence was important to her. Ugh. Why did they have to argue on their last night in LA? Her last night in LA possibly ever...

Zoe looked up at the sky and expected to see the stars like on the Island. Maybe she wasn't going to miss LA as much as she thought.

She walked a few steps with her head up trying to find a star, any star, up past the lights but literally could not find any. Zoe gasped as she collided with a person.

"Ohmy. I'm so sorry, I wasn't paying attention my b..."

A half startled Pin chuckled at her and shook his head.

"I really am sorry"

"I know, me too." He took her hand and kissed the back of it. They quietly walked back to the house.

Even though they had made up, Zoe was restless in her bed. Maybe because it was literally her matress on the floor in her now empty bedroom and everything felt kind of weird. Like closure. It was only a little after 2 and luckily they didn't have to get up early. Their flight was in the afternoon and all they had left to pack was their suitcases.

Zoe giving up the sleep fight snuck quietly out to the kitchen for some water, past a knocked out Pin on an air mattress in the bare living room. She looked around at the emptyness and felt a little sad. She glanced down at Pin who was sleeping quietly with his hair mostly over his eyes. Boy needed a hair cut. She ever so softly brushed it out of his face.

It was his fault pretty much.

They were moving because he bought back Raven for her.

She laughed to her self and whispered to him as she kissed his cheek, praying he wouldn't wake up because she didn't have the nerve to say it to his face yet.

"I think I'm falling in love with you, Pin".

The flight back to the island felt almost longer. Maybe it was because Rosie cried through about half of it. Maggie had already promised that she could fly back and forth and live with Dad for a few weeks at his new apartment while he worked on his work transfer for the next 2 months. That calmed her down a bit, bit she still was sad that California was no longer their real home. Zoe tried to cheer her up by starting to plan some of her bedroom ideas with her but Rose wanted pretty much nothing to do with it.

Pin and Zoe settled in to watching a couple movies with their remaining few hours left on the flight, hoping to grab some light sleep as they were getting back to the UK. Zoe's first stop after dropping stuff off at home was Raven. No matter what time it was or how sleep deprived she was. She just had to see him, she would ride him later when she had the chance to catch up on sleep and get over the on setting  jet lag from this whole weekend. At least after this she didn't have to go anywhere for a while. No pending "we have to leave" date. Well...she did remember they did have to leave again semi soon.

Ugh. The pressure she had been putting off.

Mini trials for finals were coming up and Brightfields actually had a chance of a full team qualifying for amateurs. Like, they actually had a real chance. The trials were further in to the UK near Shiropshire outside of Birmingham, and the finals were even further away than that. It was going to be quite a trip for everyone. She couldn't even imagine the great thing it would mean for Brightfields of they even qualified.

Pin must of saw her brain working a mile a minute and squeezed her hand looking at her with a questioning face.  She smiled and shook her head, putting it back down on his shoulder. She wonder how Laycee was doing with the nurse mare. She was her second stop at the barn for sure.
