We Are Where?

5. Explanation

"Artemis wake up."

"..."

I feel the bright sunlight blind me as Lillian opens the blinds. My immediate reaction was to hiss at her and curl deeper into the covers.

"Please wake up." She demanded. It was eerily quiet until every blanket around me was snatched away, even my pillow. "I'm going home, your lights are back on too." She then grabbed everything she brought including all the drinks and hopped out of the window. It was like she was never there. Well besides the melted ice cream and spilled drinks.

I pick up the containers and empty cans and throw them in the trash. I grab a rag and got it wet in the bathroom. I start blasting music while scrubbing my floor as hard as I could so it wouldn't stain.

I hear a yell, but I dismiss it because it could just be my brother's rage quitting the game or something. But I thought they went to our parents last night? Oh well, I hope it's a murderer. That'll be fun.

After I get my room picked up, I went to go check my brother's room just to make sure. As I approach the door, I'm prepared to kick down the door and yell at my brothers about scaring me this early in the morning. But I stop when I hear whispering.

The boys POV

Todoroki was the first to wake up. He didn't exactly know what to do so he just woke Deku up. When they both were up they decided they shouldn't wake Bakugo up so he won't be cranky.

That is until they hear music playing on full volume coming from a nearby room. The two boys quickly look at each other before facing the, now awake, angry-looking boy on the bed.

"WHO THE HELL IS PLAYING MUSIC THIS EARLY IN THE FUCKING MORNING?!" Said boy yells as he attempts to use mini-explosions erupt from his hands.

"What the hell is wrong with me?!" He then tried again and again to no avail.

Todoroki hurries and tries freezing Bakugo into a giant ice cube to prevent him from doing something stupid again. But nothing happens.

"Midoriya, we need to think of a plan. We're obviously under someone's quirk that's preventing our quirks."

Deku nodded his head in agreement before telling Todoroki some of his theories. Including aliens, villains, and magic. Todoroki was barely listening as he was lost in his own theories. Deku turned and looked at Bakugo.

"How does that sound, Kachan?"

Just as he was about to answer the door flies open, almost hitting Deku. One of the girls from last night bursts through the door and nearly lands on her face.

Artemis POV

I look up and see familiar-looking boys. One blonde with scarlet, a tall boy with white and red hair, and a green-haired freckled boy looking at me in shock. I hurry up and get back to normal and just stare at them. Who are these people?

"Uhhh, hello?" I then proceed to facepalm myself for that introduction. "So... what are y'all doing in my house exactly?" Now you may think I'm acting relatively calm, well on the outside I am but on the inside, I'm a ball of anxiety and fear. How the hell else was I supposed to react?!

The green-haired one started to squirm and looked like he was gonna cry at any moment. "I swear we didn't break in! We woke up and went in here I promise!"
