I don't even notice the thunderstorm outside. I'm too deep into an episode of My Hero Academia to care. I'm crying and hoping that the show would distract me from my housing situation, but that obviously doesn't work.
My attention was ripped from the laptop whenever loud banging on my window causes me to scream. I turn around and look out my window just to be face to face with Lillian.
She was mouthing something, well shouting. I'm guessing it had something to do with opening my window so she can get out of the freezing rain.
Poor idiot road her bike here. So that's why she was busy.
As soon as it's open a bag goes flying towards my face. Good thing I dodged, because when the bag drops on the ground, a whole bunch of energy drinks and ice cream falls out.
I look back up at Lillian and she was dangling halfway out my window. I rush over and helped her into my room.
"You dumbass." She glares at my insult before talking.
"So... I knew you were gonna be upset about this so I smuggled some of my dad's ice cream and brought us 3 drinks each." After she says this I fight the urge to hug her because I know she would probably punch me in the face if I did.
"Thank you. Umm, I was watching My Hero Academia if you wanna join?" She nodded and I put the laptop on the charger and sat it on the end of the bed.
"Oh yeah, my spoons!" She screams excitedly, as took some plastic spoons out of her bag.
"You weirdo. oH, lEt mE GrAb My sPoOoOnS!" We laughed before laying on our bellies and watched the screen before us.
"Hey, can you hand me a drink and ice cream?" I ask after a few minutes. She hands me them as I pop open the can. I look back up on the screen and made a high pitch squeal/scream when I see Bakugo, Midoriya, and Todoroki.
"Why can't they be real?! Ya' know I wish they were our roommates!" I then took a long sip out of my energy drink.
A loud boom shakes the ground and lights up the house. My computer screen glitches out and a series of electrical sparks following afterward.
"Shit, shit, shit I spilled it everywhere!" I scream in the dark. I feel around and my laptop and charger even my bed was soaked in the drink. I start feeling around the air to find Lillian.
"Lillian where are you? Speak! The lights are out and I can't see in the dark!" I start panicking and swinging my arms around until I feel my hand slap something.
"Ow, bitch that hurt." Is all I hear in the dark. I start silently laughing I couldn't breathe as I start snorting and wheezing. From the flashes of lightning, I can see her doing the same thing while holding her cheek.
"Oi, we can just use our flashlights on our phones, we're stupid!" I laugh at her as I pull out my phone and accidently shine it in my face.
I fix the light and looked at the mess. Half melted ice cream and energy drinks everywhere. My laptop looked completely destroyed. Welp time for a new one anyway but I'm not the one that will buy it.
I'm dead.
"Your/my aunt is gonna kick your/my ass." We both say at the same time.
We cleaned off my bed and took all of the clean blankets and laid on the floor and we talked about or crushes. Well, I did she just talked about her girlfriend and occasionally asked for advice, which I happily gave. Eventually, we both dozed off on the floor with our flashlights still on.
