Wind rushed past Ladybug's face as she zipped towards her modest house on top of the bakery. She scanned the surroundings, catching and purifying every free roaming akuma she laid her eyes on. Being an adult with superpowers really must be a big deal, she thought. After a while of catching an purifying, she decided it would be smarter to just catch the akumas and then expel them once she got to the Dupain-Cheng bakery.

Marinette landed gracefully and opened up her yo-yo to expel all the purified butterflies within. She then released her transformation behind her chimney. She peeked her head around the corner to see if anyone saw her and instructed Tikki to hide in her purse.

As she bolted down her stairs (she swore she saw a trail of smoke behind her because of how fast she was going), she opened her chest full of Adrien's presents for the next 56 years. Inside, buried between a soft hat and a fencing helmet, was the ladybug-spotted Miracle Box. A small watch symbol was embossed on one of the spots. She pushed that dot of black with her thumb and it opened the box, unveiling the watch of the rabbit.

Tikki popped out of her purse. "We need to find Alix fast, before she transforms into Timebreaker. And remember, we need to find Chat Noir and tell him about the situation."

Marinette nodded shakily. "What if this isn't the right moment?"

Tikki shook her head and sweetly smiled. "This is the right moment. I can feel it. Your judgement is always right! Don't worry. You will do great!"

Marinette grinned at her kwami's infectious optimism. Sometimes, she wished she took the opportunity to appreciate Tikki's antics. Without her, she would still be a very clumsy, disorganized girl with no chance to prove herself. The pink spotted kwami was her spirit guardian and mentor, always ready to point her in the right direction. Marinette firmly believed that if everyone had a kwami like Tikki, they would become better people. Marinette cupped her in her petite hands and kissed the little deity's head.

"Thank you Tikki. I don't know what I would have done without you in my life."

Tikki giggled. I didn't know a god could be this cute. I thought they were supposed to be menacing and, well, GODLIKE. Marinette thought. Shaking her head to focus, she picked up the watch. Fluff erupted out of the center and zoomed in front of the girl.

"Was it yesterday that I was in this box, maybe the day before? No, I think it was a couple years in the future. Yup. Yup."

Marinette smiled. "Hey, Fluff. I think it's time."

Fluff determinedly nodded and flew back in the old-fashioned watch. The Miraculous's glamour magic changed the timepiece into its camouflaged mode.

For a split second, a bright pink flash illuminated the room. Ladybug ran out, trying to find Chat in the sea of victims. A shock spread throughout her body as she wondered if
