It was an awkward silence

It was an awkward silence. I had fallen on my boss's son, bra-less and soaked in coffee all over my chest. I was frozen, I didn't know what I was supposed to do in this situation. That's when I felt a squeeze on my chest. Looking down on my chest, I saw the hand of the son I was towering over squeezing my breast.

Wait a second.. is he.. wait...!

"W-what are you doing..?" I choked out, an obvious blush dusting my cheeks. His back was leaning against the island bar in the company building kitchen. "Oh uh.. sorry. My bad." He replied, loosening his grip on my chest. He scratched the back of his head and smiled sheepishly.

"Perverted scum!" I yelled, smacking his chest. I could feel the heat on my cheeks intensify, I just couldn't grasp what had just happened.

What was he thinking? Touching me like that.. it's honestly disgusting to think that Dragon's son would do such things to a woman he only just met!

I got lost in thought while I was scurrying away from the scene when I realized I had no clue where I was going.

"Do you honestly think he's cut out for it? I understand that he's your son but him taking over the company?" I heard Sanji's voice question, the sound coming from Dragon's office. Curious, I walked around the corner of the hall to listen.

Take over the company? That perv.. a CEO?

Just the thought of it sounded ridiculous. A total moron with no sense of style, a disgusting perv that seems unfit to be the CEO of a beauty product company.

Realizing I had been eavesdropping on my boss, I tried to turn around quickly to walk away but I was stopped when I walked straight into something.

"Ow.." I complained, pressing the bridge of my nose in pain. Opening my eyes, I saw the body of a muscular man. With my eyes trailing up his body I met his eyes. He was a marimo, three gold earrings in his left ear and a scar on his left eye. "Ah I'm sorry. I didn't see you there." the green-haired man apologized while he looked around to see where he was.

"It's okay I guess. It's not the worst thing that's happened today." I replied to him, backing away to create more space between us. "Yeah I can tell." He said, looking down at my chest and grinning a bit. I realized that I still hadn't cleaned myself up from the coffee spill that happened just a few minutes earlier. "Oh uh.. yeah I'm sorry. You seemed uh.. lost?" I questioned him, attempting to change the subject of the matter and crossed my arms to hide the spill a little. "Yeah I'm actually trying to look for the office room."

The office room? It's right there. Is this guy stupid or something?

"Um it's actually right around the corner over there. I don't know how you missed it, haha." I teased while pointing the direction the office was in. I could still hear the faint sound of Dragon and Sanji discussing the fate of the company.

Deep down I hoped that his son would take over, he seemed like he wouldn't be so hard on the designers. Even though he's such a perv, he seemed like a pretty nice guy in a way. It may have just been his aura that surrounded him. Then again, I had barely known the guy.

"Oh is it? Thanks for that. I have a bad sense of direction. My names Zoro and I'll be the new manager of the company. Basically I'll help the new CEO carry out his job. In case you haven't found out yet, his name is Monkey D. Luffy and he's Dragon's biological son, despite their different appearances. I know it's a lot to grasp, but soon it'll be the everyday normal. Make sure you get yourself cleaned up, I would imagine that you'll be meeting Luffy soon." Zoro informed to me, gesturing to my coffee spill.

"Don't worry, I will. And about Luffy, I've already met him. Thanks for the information, and sorry for bumping into you."

I left work early for the day to change and shower. I would've come back, but I needed to process everything so I just took the rest of the day off. When I was walking home I saw a black kitten with a scar under its left eye.

That's odd.. must be a stray?

I tried to catch it but it ran away when it saw me. Oh well. Ding! I got a notification on my phone, thinking it was just a stray notification. Then my phone rang from inside my pocket. I fished it out and read the caller ID. It was Nami, though, so I answered.

"Hello?" I asked her as I continued walking towards my house. "Hey!" She yelled into the phone, making my ears ring. "Ah hey?" I squeaked back to her and immediately regretted answering the phone. "Hancock, did you know that one guy from this morning is gonna be the CEO of Lácour Beauty? It's crazy, right?" Nami had seemed so absorbed about the subject, though I didn't see why she was freaking out. To me, he seemed like a better CEO than Dragon, even though he had no experience whatsoever.

"Yeah I actually found out earlier." I replied back to her. I had finally arrived at my house and begun to fish my keys out from my bag. "Hey Nami I'll call you back later I have t-" I was cut off by her screaming into my ear once again, "Hancock wait!" She pleaded for me not to hang up. "Yes?" I questioned, desperate to get inside. "There's a party Wednesday night and I want you to come. It's a party for all of our coworkers so everyone from the building will be there, including Robin and I."

"Sure I'll come. Now can I go?" I pleaded, I couldn't say no to Nami. She simply couldn't take no for an answer no matter what when it comes to parties, so it's best to just give in early. "Yes! Okay bye Hancock!"

I hung up and let out a sigh of relief. She can really be a pain sometimes. I went inside and sat my bag down. Ding! Another notification. Ding! Annoyed, I grabbed my phone to see what it was.
