It was a hot summer day at ouran high. Haruhi was somehow stuck sitting alone with an angry tamaki.
"It's so hooooooot!!" Tamaki whined slouching back in the cushioned chair, putting his knees up to his chest.
"Well that's your problem, I'm perfectly fine." Haruhi says, turning her head and fixing her gaze on Kyoya who had just entered the room.
It felt like she was sitting with tamaki for hours, when it had only been nine minutes. Kyoya noticed the annoyed expression planted on haruhi's face.
He chuckled to himself before walking toward tamaki and lifting him up by the arm.
"Stop annoying haruhi, and get to work. The club can't run itself." He sighed pushing in his glasses with his free hand. And sighing.
Tamaki let out a loud 'ugh' before storming off towards the storage closet, with his head low. He came out with a vase with a bouquet of flowers sitting inside of it.
He set it on the table and took one out and handed it to haruhi, bowing.
"A rose for a fine lady like you, my dear" he said, with golden bangs falling in front of his eyes.
She laughed and took the flower with both hands.
"Thanks, but I don't really like roses." She said walking over to put it back in the white vase.
*laugh track*
Tamaki stood there in shock, his face pale. He does this so much to her, and he always gets rejected, yet his reaction never changes.
She walked over to the kitchen to wash the dishes that had been left from honey senpai eating a whole cake earlier.
As she scrubbed the plate with a light blue sponge she heard the door slowly open.
Kyoya walked in the room and shut the door tight, before letting out a long sigh, leaning against the door.
"Oh, hello kyoya senpai!" She said setting down the plate with both hands. "Need something?"
"No, I'm just trying to get away from tamaki, he won't stop complaining about how hot it is." He said pushing in his glasses, sighing and fixing his posture.
"Oh, feel free to stay in here, this kitchen has plenty of room!" Haruhi said, opening her arms, widening the smile that was already on her face.
She's used to living in poverty at her own home, Her kitchen is smaller than half the size of this one. In fact, her whole house was smaller than this kitchen.
He sighed and sat down at the counter before setting his hand on his chin. Soon enough he found himself gazing at haruhi as she washed the dishes.
Seeing her in a male uniform didn't suit his tastes. He'd rather see her in a long pink dress with a white trim and lace into a perfect bow at her waist.
"You know, you don't have to do the dishes." He said looking away from his long stare, closing his eyes.
"I know, but it feels like I'm not doing anything to help when I'm just sitting at the table." She said removing the gloves off her hands. And leaning on the counter.
"Haruhi, you are a lady, you shouldn't be doing all the work" he said pushing in his glasses.
Haruhi rolled her eyes at this statement and brushed it off, they are always telling her things like this.
