As the calendar kept tripping on months, Harry and I became best friends. In the truest form.
Just that, though. I was dating Stan, my first boyfriend, at that time and Harry was in a long distance relationship with a girl called Sandy.
People would've thought I was in a relationship with Harry, had I not been posting pictures on Instagram with my actual boyfriend.
In fact, many had ignored all that or either had not seen the photos, and often gushed about how cute Harry and I were.
When we'd laugh about the fact how people could think that, I couldn't help but wonder what it would be like. . If I were to actually date Harry.
Anyways, one day, we were on our way to meet Stan, who was in college at that time. Harry was riding the bike, and I was clinging onto him, for my dear life. I hate riding bikes.
My mum didn't know anything about Stan. I bet she suspected something, though.
So, when Harry's phone rings and he answers with a, "Hi, Jay" I immediately panic.
"Oh no. Don't say anything, Harry." I whisper, pinching his side.
"Ow!" Harry whisper-yells.
"Hello? Harry, is this a bad time?" I overhear, just as he pulls over.
"No, no. It's fine." Harry says, mischievous glint in his eyes.
"Oh, okay. Do you know where Louis is? His phone is switched off." I heard my mum say, her voice loud and clear on Harry's speaker.
"Phone switched off? No." Harry says, dimples poking out as he tries to wave off my advancing punch.
"Oh, how do you know?"
"Shit. Actually Louis is here, with me." Harry admits.
I glare at him, mouthing a 'you fucker' before turning to answer my mum's never ending questions.
"Hi, mum."
"Oh god. Louis William Tomlinson. Why were you not picking up my calls? Where are you?" She demands, and I sigh. That's what I've been avoiding.
"My phone died. I am with Harry. He's dropping me at Mark's house, for the assignment. I told you about that English project. ."
Harry laughs silently, he knows I'm not going to complete any 'assignment'.
"Oh, actually I will be in that area in the evening. I can pick you up."
Oh no.
I plead with Harry, and he sighs slapping my bum.
"Oh, actually I'll be in the area. And Louis will probably finish up late. So I can pick him up."
Harry smirks, making 'blow job' actions after he says 'finish up'.
"Oh, thank you Harry. You're such a sweetheart."
"It's really no trouble, Jay." He says, honest.
"And my mum wanted to meet you, for that wine tasting. ." Harry says, for good measure.
"Oh, yes! I'd love to catch up with Annie. Bye, Haz. Bye, Lou." She says, finally hanging up.
I release a deep breath after saying goodbye. I didn't notice I had been holding my breath.
"You know you can tell her. About Stan." Harry states, his tone serious.
"I know. . I just. . He's not ready to meet my family. And I don't know if I want him to." I admit, lowering my face.
