Prologue:

The big tower stood in front of the small girl. The lavender haired girl was standing on the other side of the street trembling. The man that she had to meet was a cruel human being, but he was the only one who could help her.

Taking a deep breath and calming her nerves, the girl took the first step towards the building. With heavy steps she entered the building looking around the dull grey interior. She saw a few cameras at the entrance and made sure she was seen. She waited a few seconds until the all to familiar agent stepped out of the elevator.

"General Major McAlister it's nice too see you." The agent said.

"I would say the feelings are mutual but you know their not."

The agent only smiled at the young woman in front of her. The girls dark blue eyes reflected the emotion of hate. Her hair was dyed a lavender color, something that was still brown the last time they met.

"Can you please take me to the director?" The girl asked.

  "Of course, this way."

The agent politely showed the girl to the elevator and they stepped in. The girl played with the suspenders of her shorts that laid low on her thighs.

The agent escorted the girl to an office looking room. She told the girl to take a seat and that the director will be here shortly.

The girl started playing around with her rings while she waited. The events from a week ago replayed in her mind.

The car pulled up to an old castle. The girl in the car stepped out dropping her bags to hug her siblings.

  ''Ingrid!" The six boys yelled.

 "We're so glad your back!"

"Thank God your in one piece."

"Now, now boys let's let Ingrid change from these smelly clothes into something nicer." The seventh male said.

He was the driver of the car and also Ingrid's eldest sibling.

The boys started fussing over the short lavender haired woman. They all followed her inside and let her change into a pair of shorts and tank top.

The seven boys waited in the living room of the castle as they discussed something in hushed tones. Ingrid went looking for her father who wasn't in his study or in the gardens out back.

She made her way back to the house but stopped in front of the beautiful angel statue in the rose garden. The statue was covered in bright white roses that faded into a light pink at the tips. On the bottom of the statue there were words engraved.

'To our beautiful Friga, so she can find her way home one day.'

This was a statue made by Ingrid's third brother, Frode. The statue was made for their mother who went missing when Ingrid was but a mere child.

Ingrid crouched down and let her fingers dance over the letters in the stone. They glowed as her fingers passed and Ingrid felt her mothers life force. She could feel every breath her mother took and smiled, knowing she was alive.

Her attention turned towards her brothers who were now all standing behind her. She stood up and looked at all of them. There was only one similarity between the eight siblings, the deep dark blue eyes.

Ingrid's eldest sibling, Balder, stepped out and took a deep breath. He looked at Ingrid and took her by the hands.

"Ingrid, my sweet baby sister... We have something to tell you..." Balder said softly.

Ingrid looked up at him and nodded for him to continue.

"Today is the day that a month has passed since our father disappeared."

Ingrid's eyes grew wide. This couldn't be happening. Her father disappeared? She lost him the same way as her mother? The small girls eyes started glossing over until small drops of water came down her cheeks.

She couldn't utter a word, so she just hugged her eldest brother and cried. Her screams engulfed the field of colorful roses and they started becoming pale from the agony.

Ingrid couldn't stop crying until late in the night. Her mind was flooded with memories she had with her father.

He was a nice man. He wasn't strict for an army official. He loved her mother and her siblings with everything he had. His pale blue eyes were always showing his emotions, something that stayed in the family. He was a big man and Ingrid thought of him as a giant. His posture and demeanor was that of a king thanks to the Highland blood that ran through his veins. And thanks to him Ingrid learned about life fast and without any disappointments.

Ingrid had asked her superiors in the army for help, but they turned her down, just like her father when he asked to look for her mother. Ingrid was desperate to find her father so she was left with only one option.

She was left with the option to ask the man who had kidnaped her as a child for her talents.

She was left with the option to ask the director of S.H.I.E.L.D. himself.

She was left with the option to ask Nick Fury for help.
