NICO:
I was going to camp. Finally, I couldn't wait to see Will. He was the only part that made camp tolerable. Sure, people got more friendly after the giant war, but still. I feel the familiar coldness of the shadows circle around me.
--------
I stumbled, falling out of the shadows. In front of me is my father, the area surrounding me didn't look like the underworld. At least no place I have ever seen. It looked like some sort of futuristic cargo bay.

"Father," I say bowing

"Nico,"

"Can we skip pleasantries, why am I here?" I ask feeling tried, irritable and dizzy.

"Of course. I am merely here to say the fates have sent you into space. I had no prior knowledge."

"What about everyone else?"

"Your boyfriend will be told you are on a mission for me." He must have noticed the concern in my voice "also one last thing your powers will work pretty much the same. Oh, and Nico you must keep the fact you're a demigod a secret." He said fading away.

The reality comes rushing in. I was in space on some foreign spaceship. On some stupid mission that the fates thought I would be good for. I swear they enjoy torturing heroes. I am taken out of my thoughts on my miserable life to hear to people in argument. I decided to see if there was a bed, I could stay in till I got my energy back. I felt like I was going to collapse.

"I'm telling you, Keith you got to come over to try my family's cooking some time."

"Maybe. If we get home in one piece."

I hear their footsteps come around the corner. I don't see any where I can hide, and I don't have enough energy to shadow travel somewhere else.
I freeze. They turn the corner.

"Who are you?" the shorter one says grabbing a fancy knife, it had a black blade and leather strips wrapped around the handle, with a strange ruin on it.

I stand there, my hand at my waist ready to grab my sword if necessary. We lock eyes and then everything goes black.
