"Excuse me, can I come in?" I knocked on the mahogany door, the knight that's guarding giving me a fleeting glance.

When I heard a muffled 'come in' from the inside, I pushed the door and walked toward the bed, Olivia trailing behind me.

"Good morning, your majesty. Did you have a good sleep?" The blond woman smiled, nodding her head slowly.

It's a fifth day of the family gathering and the second day I cook for the queen. It's quite amazing when the king agreed with me being a personal chef for his wife for a week without much thought.

"What's the menu for today, Charlie?" She asked, excitedly staring at Olivia, who is arranging the breakfast that I prepared on a tray.

"Ahh, I've made a chicken porridge," she let out a soft 'oooohh~' when the porridge has been served in front of her on top of a small table.

"Please let it cool down first, your majesty," I remind her, seeing that she nearly shove a piping hot porridge in her mouth. Smiling at me sheepishly, she nodded her head.

Shaking my head in amusement, I return to my task....grating ginger. "What are you doing, Charlie?" I hummed, as I hand the grated ginger to Olivia. She put it in the glass teapot and pour boiling water in it.

"Honey lemon ginger tea," I answer simply. The queen let out an interest hum, seeing that she cant speak with food in her mouth. "It's good for your health...slow down, your majesty," I sweatdrop at the blond woman.

Giggling, she continues to eat her porridge, slower than before. "Did you already have your breakfast, Charlie?"

Shaking my head, I give her a soft 'no', still focusing on my task. Putting lemon juice and honey in a big cup, I give it to Olivia.

The queen frown, "You should have your breakfast, Charlie, you're a growing girl. Next time, eat before you send my breakfast, you can just tell the servant to send it here."

"It's fine. And more, I don't want to take a risk if I told some servant to give you the meal that I prepare. If something happens, I will be the one who takes the blame." I shrug, taking the mug that Olivia gave me before thanking her.

The queen pout, peeling the banana that I gave her. "Here, drink this after you are done eating. After that take your medicine. Then rest,"

"You know, Charlie....you make a good lady in waiting," I let out a 'huh', feeling weirded out.

"Thanks, I guess..."

She giggled, handing the food tray to Olivia, "I'm just telling you the truth, Charlie. But I know that you will not become a lady in waiting. You're an Amaryllis...I don't want your family to go berserk. But you make a great wife though...Oh! And a great mother!"

I give the excited queen an incredulous look, "I'm sorry, my queen...but I'm just eight...wait no...I will be eight years old next week."

"That's why I told you that. You're not even fully eight years old yet...and you are very good at taking care of the other! And a good cooker too! Ah, how bless your future husband is, he will surely love you" she let out a dreamy sigh while I flinch...remembering a certain event days ago.

Ahhahahahah...how good it is if my so-called future husband loves me.

Anyway!

"Whatever you say, your majesty." Our conversation has been cut short when there's a knock on the door. "Ah, I'll take my leave now. Please eat your medicine and have a good rest, your majesty." Bowing toward the sick woman, I walk out of the room.
