We got to the tournament extra early that day. We wanted to get there early because we needed plenty of time to practice before the tournament. We were read but, we always need some time to get loose. We always take 30 minuets putting to get the feel of how they are rolling. Then we go and rest before we go and walk for 4 hours. Once our tee time is 15 minuets away we make our way to the tee.

We do not always get to play together but, today we did. We were the last group out with a tee time of 8:05. When we got to the tee we talked to the starter, were announced. And teed off. Once we were too our balls we took our second shots. I got the ball within 10 feet and made the put for par. For Nick, it didn't go as well; he had a three put and made bogey.

We played well on the front nine. I had two birdies on both 6 and 7 and Nick also did to get back to even. Both of the kids we played with played well but only shot 4 over and 5 over. We played well on the back and going into the 18th hole were both 2 under. Once we got to the 18th we were both very tired. We both had decent drives. I was about 160 yards out and took out an 8 iron. I hit the shot perfect, it hit right next to the pin but rolled about 15 feet past. Nicks was even better than mine settling about 5 feet from the hole.

Once we got to the hole I took my putter to my ball and looked at the break. This was a tough put but was very makeable for me. I took some practice strokes them stepped up to the ball. I hit it and it rolled right into the hole for a birdie to end the day. Nick made his and made a fist pump just like tiger woods like he had just won the masters.

When we got to the scoring table we added up our cards. Once we were done with that we went to look at the score boards. "Dude, we are in the lead by two!" Nick said with satisfaction. I also had observed this and was very supprised. "Dude, I know its crazy right we could both win this." I said knowing that he was right I felt happy. This plan might just work to save the course.
