Albarracin, Spain

a hazy shadow fell over the footpath, the sound of the wind blowing, and the leaves rustling broke the eerie silence of the midnight. Ren sprinted at full sail, she wanted to go anywhere, anywhere from that "monster". She wanted to go away, wanted to feel that it was just a dream, but it was real, life had NO mercy. Gasping for air she stopped.

Observing her surroundings was her first instinct. The streets were empty and there was the only lamp at the end of the street which seemed to be flickering. It almost appeared to be that she was the only sign of life. She recollected what happened a few hours back. She shivered at the thoughts. "but why me?!", she felt like screaming. As she surveyed her surroundings she felt the atmosphere drop and something behind her, a pungent smell hit her. She tried screaming but it was in vain. She felt herself drop to the floor and........

Seoul, South Korea

I woke up in a jolt. There was no way I was going to sleep on with that memory. It has been 4 weeks since I got that "dream".  Traumatized? You can say that. My whole body felt as if it was dipped in a pool. I checked my phone- no messages. That's when a merry ting came from my phone, "Hi Ren u coming to dance practice or not?- clementine." I looked at the time and swore loudly it was 9:15 and that's when I was usually at practice. Clementine would not accept me for being late again. I jumped out of bed and got freshened up. Running outside my room I grabbed my keys, my friend, Lucas asked me where I was going with a bunch of colorful words following it. I roll my eyes and yell, "dance practice!" as I dashed outside.

Banpo Bridge, Seoul

20 minutes. It was 20 minutes since I was waiting in the car in a traffic jam, usually, there was no traffic on Banpo Bridge but this time there had to be one when I was SUPER LATE. Drumming my fingers on the steering wheel I waited. And waited and waited. What was happening?! Almost as I reached the handle.........

9:45 am

I reached the handle to get out of my car to see what was going on until I heard a large explosion and felt myself tumbling backward. Then, nothing. Everything was black. I found myself stuck between airbags and my car was upside-down slowly drifting towards the river below the bridge. Panicking, my instincts kicked in. Slowly I moved each muscle to get out, but not too quickly otherwise I might become a meal for the fishes. As I used my foot to try and get a grip of the handlebars the car creaked, slightly groaning. My heart skipped a few beats and my whole body became tense. My imagination worked up and showed me the worst possible scenes that could happen."Not the right time", I grumble waiting in an awkward position.

To my help, a firefighter came to the rescue, and as they helped me out I saw the chaos and wreckage that happened. It looked like a movie scene, which was bad. Cars were upside-down, medics were running from person to person, ambulances were rushing in and going one by one. Since I have a bit of medical background myself I went to help the injured. As I helped a lady whose head was bleeding, I heard a small kid crying in the middle of the wreckage. Nobody noticed him so I went rushing towards the child. The kid was a crying mess so it was hard calming him down. After a minute or two, he was sniffling but still was scared. "What's your name?", I ask in my special voice reserved for kids and animals. "H-hojung", he stuttered. The kid was frightened by everything that was happening right now. I asked him where his parents were. He slowly moved his hand towards a car hanging off the bridge slowly drifting downwards.

"m-mom", he whimpered. My face went pale, I saw a few officers at the end of the bridge. I took the boy with me and rushed towards them. "H-help there's a lady stuck in that car", I gasp pointing towards the car Hojung pointed towards. One of the female officers raised an eyebrow: "We had already checked that car and there was only that boy," she says, nodding towards Hojung. I felt mad at the lady, "No there's someone in there you got to check again please!" I pleaded. "Deputy Jung-soon got the backup members and checked the car again. Now.", a deep honey-like voice said. I was surprised but I bowed down thanking him. The man was pretty tall with a fair complexion and straight messy hair. His eyes were those types of eyes that you could take hours to stare at, his smile was like the brightest thing in the world.

"Miss are you okay?", the man asks. I snap out of my dreams, "Yes I am", I murmur. He smiles, while my heart skips a few beats. "Oh my god kid are you okay your bleeding....everywhere!", he exclaims. I look at Hojung and gasp, and by the time I even know it the mysterious man got a few medics to take him to the hospital. "Are you his guardian?", a medic asks. "No, I found him in the middle of chaos." "Ok please do come to Seoul's st.mary hospital. We need as much help as we can and we saw you in action.", the medic says with a pleading look. I give a small nod. I walked up to the man who helped me and asked, "Well, did you find her?" "Yes, thank you for being so helpful she has been moved to the hospital her son is in." I give a smile in return as I faint from exhaustion.
