Jungkook was cleaning his sword and phasing out. He was troubled, couldn't put his mind into one thing. He kept on remembering his times with YN. This new feeling that he felt seemed so overwhelming.
Suddenly his door was pushed open and in came a very unpleasant Hoseok, "You are late for practice. Is something wrong? You never do that."
Hoseok's question pulled Jungkook out of his trance. How could he forget about the practice?
"I'm sorry, I was just....." Jungkook paused for a while then breathed a sigh, "It's-it's nothing. Let's go for practice."
He picked up his sword and put it in its scabbard. But Hoseok could understand the boy's face.
"I know you Jungkook, I raised you. So, are you gonna tell me what's bothering you or do I have to beat you in a fair fight to get it out of you?" Hoseok asked, giving him a knowing glare.
Jungkook sighed again accepting defeat. His face turned soft and confused. He opened his mouth but stayed like that for a moment then he finally spoke, "I can't stop thinking about her. Whatever I do, I only see her face. What do I do Hoseok hyung? I'm falling for her." By the time he had finished, he had his hands in his hair pulling at them.
"Who are you talking about?" Hoseok knew exactly who Jungkook was talking about but he wanted to be clear if his suspicion was right.
"YN.. It's YN I'm talking about. I think I'm in love with her."
His words snatched Hoseok's soul out of his body. That was what he feared the most. He couldn't let that happen. Jungkook is to be the next king and if YN was going to die in the future she would be a bad candidate for the queen.
King and queen both are essential for a nation. If she dies at a young age then the king and the country will be vulnerable. Enemies will attack. So, for the sake of the country Hoseok couldn't let this happen.
"STOP IT!! You're acting like a five years old boy who got a new toy! 'I think I'm in love with her?' Do you even hear yourself, Jungkook? You are yet to lay your hands on a girl and you know what love means?!!" Hoseok was furious. He had his hands clenched beside him.
Jungkook was dumbfounded by his demeanor. Never had he seen Hoseok break out like that.
Hoseok shut his eyes tightly to calm himself. Deep breaths coming in and out of his nose, chest heaving up and down.
After composing himself he looked at the boy with some sort of authority and started, "This is the first time you have been very close with a woman. It's just your inner beast that was awoken by her soft touch. All these...... emotions that you're feeling are not love, it's lust. Desire for a woman's touch, cravings for a taste of her body. So, be mature."
But Jungkook believed that his feelings were not lust. Sure, he yearned to touch her. Her tinted cheeks, plump lips and green eyes were very tempting but he denied to label his love as lust. His feelings for her were genuine and Hoseok couldn't make him think otherwise.
"NO, you're wrong! It's not lust! My love is pure. I'm not a child, I know what love means and I definitely don't need a lesson from you! Besides, father chose her as my bride." Jungkook said, crossing his hands on his chest and glared at Hoseok.
"You're delusional. If you think your father chose her then you're wrong. He wanted you to gain the merchant's support, not take his daughter to bed," Hoseok spat.
"Another word about her and I'll forget that you're my master."
"NO, another word about her and I'll forget that you're a prince. It's time you start acting like a real prince."
