16. Kidnapping

     I was waiting outside the summer palace whereas Hoseok hyung and Master Yoongi were hiding inside the palace gates. After quarreling for hours Hoseok hyung finally let Master come with us.  

I only had one chance to pacify YN. If she didn't believe me, we would have to take her with us forcefully which I clearly want to avoid. 

It had already been two hours since we were waiting. I had lost all hope. After what happened yesterday, I didn't think she would come today. 

But proving me wrong she came riding on her horse. Surprisingly this time she was in her maiden dress and she had her two bodyguards with her. It's gonna be a big problem. 

They all came down from their horses. YN ordered her guards to stay a little further from us and came towards me. 

"I didn't plan to come today. But keeping in mind of our long term friendship I decided to give you a chance. So, what did you want to talk about?" She said before getting inside the palace. 

I went after her and breathed out a sigh of relief not seeing hyung and Master around. 

She sat on one of the exquisite furniture. She put her hands on her lap and looked directly at me, indicating me to speak. 

I gulped down my saliva. She was usually bubbly but today her demeanor was making me very nervous. I took in a chest full of air and prepared myself to speak. 

"Look, what I said yesterday is all true. You never know how things would turn out in life. The person you love the most may turn their back on you. You can't deny the fact that there is a possibility of Jungkook killing you."

"Well then, why don't we ask Jungkook about it? Let's ask him why he would want to kill me?" She asked, raising her eyebrows. 

"He may not want to kill you now but who knows? In the future he might want to......... Maybe on the festival day.... he-he wants to draw a sword through your ch-chest," I finished looking down playing with my fingers.  

"Give me a proper reason as to why he would want to do so. If you can give me one reason I'll do whatever you say."

I turned around to think of a reason which could possibly make Jungkook want to harm her. But alas! I could not think of any reason at all. Master Yoongi's visions were not explicit at all if anything they were only a glimpse. I tried to come up with any reason but couldn't find any as Jungkook was not someone who would hurt a woman. 

"Just as I thought. You can't think of any reason because there is none. You just wasted my precious time. I'm going back home, I'll see you tomorrow at the festival." With that she stood up and went outside the palace. 

To her horror she saw her guards lying unconscious on the ground. She turned around probably to ask me what was going on when Hoseok hyung covered her mouth from behind. 

She pulled on his hands but he was very strong. She stopped struggling and bit his palm which earned her a shriek from him.  

She freed herself and turned around to get a better view of her intruder. She was shocked to see Hoseok hyung and Master standing there. 

"What are you, a dog!!!? This hurts like hell!!" Hoseok hyung screamed violently, shaking his hand. 

"Stop whining like a child. It's just a bite," Master said coming inside the palace. 

"Shut up Yoongi!! This girl actually bites!!"

"She's getting ready to get married. What do you expect?"
    
    
"Explain what is going on here!!! What are you planning to do!!?" YN screamed at them. I was trying to avoid this moment. But we didn't have any other way. 

"Sorry, YN. We didn't want to do this. But you left us with no choice. So, I advise you not to struggle much. We don't want to hurt you," I said looking at her eyes. 

"You are in this too? I can't believe it!! Jungkook is your brother. How can you betray him like this?"

"I'm doing this for him. I don't want him to cry and blame himself for murdering his love. Now, don't make me force you."

She shook her head and tried to run but Hoseok hyung caught her. She tried to move her hands but he tied them with rope and shoved a cloth in her mouth so she couldn't scream. 

I took her with me on my horse. Then we started for uncle's palace. 'I'm sorry, YN. I know that you'll hate me forever for doing this to you but I don't have any explanation for this. I can only hope for the best.'

By the time they had reached Namjoon's palace it was already night time. Namjoon had prepared special guards to look after YN. 

Currently they were in Namjoon's study room talking about the matter. 

"Thank you, Your Highness. If you hadn't helped us to keep her here we really would've been in a problem," Hoseok said and bowed before Namjoon. 

"Don't mention it. I'm doing this for my beloved nephew."

"And uncle, please make sure she is alright. Jungkook loves her a lot. She is to be his bride," Taehyung requested holding Namjoon's hand. 

"Don't worry, child. I will take great care of our future queen," Namjoon spoke with a devilish smirk. 
    
     
   
'Future queen' The words made Yoongi very uncomfortable. He had remembered that he had created a lie that took them to the point where they were now. His motive was to save YN which he succeeded in. Now, it was useless to keep the lie going on. So, he decided to come out clean. 

"Ah-about that..... I lied," Yoongi said and pursed his lips. 

"What do you mean you lied?" Hoseok asked, raising an eyebrow. 

"I may or may not have lied about Jungkook becoming king to save YN." Yoongi looked down to hide his crime. 

"What!!! Are you fu****g out of your mind??!!" Hoseok cussed at Yoongi's confession but realized Namjoon's presence, "I'm sorry, Your Highness! Please, forgive my rudeness."

"Master, what is going on? Please, explain it," Taehyung asked, being confused. 

"I wanted to save YN. But Hoseok wouldn't let me. So, to divert the attention I lied that I saw Jungkook become king. I'm sorry, Your Highness. I deserve punishment." Finishing his words Yoongi bowed down on the ground before Namjoon. 

"Let me get this clear. You saw miss Kang YN dying but you didn't see Jungkook become king, am I right?" Namjoon asked, perching an eyebrow. 

"Yes, Your Highness."

"So, we did all this for nothing?!! We kidnapped a girl for god's sake!!!" Hoseok kept on scolding Yoongi. 

"How can you say that hyung? Jungkook loves her. We did this to save her. It's definitely not for nothing," Taehyung replied looking at Hoseok. 

"Taehyung is right. Let bygones be bygones. We should look at the bright side. Jungkook is going to start the festival and there is still a possibility of him killing her. So, it wasn't a complete waste of our time doing all this. We'll go with our original plan. You all go back and take rest. We have a whole day tomorrow," said Namjoon getting up from the chair. 
     
    
    
They all bade good night and left for their respective rooms. Namjoon stared at the full moon from his Window. 

'Your lie made my job easier, astrologer. Now, I only need to play the right card.' He thought and smirked.
