"Incorrect!" Nico says. "Marshmallows are best eaten alone. Smores are just diluting the marshmallow taste."
"Clearly, you are wrong." I say. "The graham cracker and chocolate just melt together so well with the marshmallow, and it is an amazing bundle of goo." "You are an amazing bundle of goo." Nico says, smiling up at me.
"Aww, thanks!" I exclaim. "But I don't understand how you like graham crackers, you like chocolate, and you like marshmallows, but you don't like smores!" "You like ice cream, and you like ketchup, but you don't like ketchup on your ice cream." He retorts. "Fair point" I reply.
We are hiking back to camp half-blood, after having taken a hike before dinner. (A romantic idea suggested by yours truly, mostly so I could hold his hand the entire time.) Nico and I are dating, but we wanted to keep it private for a bit so we could just enjoy being with each other.
We went down to the dining pavilion, got our food, and went in line to throw some in the fire.
After dinner, I poked my head into the hades cabin to see my boo. (He hates it when I call him boo, so I try to do it all the time. Grumpy Nico is sooooo cute!)
"Hey" I say, wrapping my arms around him from behind. "Hey" he says, turning toward me, and I nearly faint because dangggg that smile of his makes my knees shake.
I lean down and give him a quick kiss before saying goodnight. "Goodnight Sunshine! I love you boo!" He glares at me "Worth it!" I say. "If I didn't love you so much I think I might hate you" He grumbles.
And with that cheery note, I go to the Apollo cabin and fall fast asleep, dreaming about a very cute boy who will not be named.
