We are sitting in the Big House with Chiron. Me, Annabeth, Leo, Jason, and Frank. "Uhhh... What now?" asked Frank. "Oh, gee wow. Look at Mister Dictionary Here" said Leo. "Enough!" Annabeth scowled at everyone.
"There is clearly a pattern here" she stated. We all stared at her. "And what would that pattern be?" Jason asked?
"Obviously," Annabeth said with a patronizing shake of her head, "The people that are missing are the people that mean the most to each of us. For me, they took Percy. For Leo, they took Harley. For Jason, they took Piper. And for Hazel-"
She was interrupted by Leo. "See, what I don't understand is why that Apollo kid," - "His name is Will." I growled "Ok," Leo continued, "is why 'Will' got taken! I mean-"
"EVERYBODY SHUT UP!" Annabeth yelled. "If you dumbells would shut your mouths and listen, I could explain!" Everyone quieted and turned to her.
"Better. Now, Hazel got taken because she is the person that Frank and Nico care about the most. They needed 5 people to disappear to match the 5 of us. So they took someone that they thought might do the most damage to the camp. Will is a head counselor and is a very good healer which can come in handy."
"That makes sense" Jason admitted. Everyone else murmured their agreement.
I, on the other hand, realized that nobody knew that Will and I were dating, or that I cared more for my boyfriend than my half-sister.

I am nowhere without Will. He was the one person to care, to tell me that I am worth it, and stop me from hating myself and what I am.
I come back into reality and find everyone staring at me. "Gaia to Nico, are you there" Leo teased. I glared at him. "I'm fine. just... thinking"
