Taylor: Today's the day I'm just gonna write, no distractions, no breakdowns just Letting my creative flow do it's thing

Confidence: Woo let's do this

Taylor: Thank you confidence

Realism: You really should have brought some food if you're planning to write all day

Taylor: Got it covered reality I brought enough snacks to last the day

Anxiety: Why are you even bothering? You aren't gonna like what you write anyway

Taylor: Not today anxiety I'm staying totally positive

Realism: Okay you're going to need a plot

Taylor: I'm just gonna do something simple, probably fantasy adventure thing

Confidence: That sounds amazing

Taylor: Maybe it could have the characters looking for some sort of mythical thing

Anxiety: Hasn't that been done to death

Reality: If your choosing to do that you should have some good characters

Taylor: Right characters... how about...

Character: I'm a 16 year old orphan who's always yearned for more than my pitiful life, I'm also secretly destined to be the chosen one

Confidence: That's amazing. What does the chosen one mean?

Character: No idea

Anxiety: Taylor this character has no traits

Taylor: On it

Character: I'm very kind

Reality: That isn't a character trait

Taylor: I'm trying

Character: I am very determined

Reality: How about we try this differently. All your favourite characters are defined by one thing

Taylor: Homoerotic subtext?

Reality: No. Well actually but that's... Relationships, I meant relationships

Taylor: Oh right that makes sense

Character 2: I'm a goofy loud mouthed sidekick who's secretly the most tender person ever

Confidence: Love it

Character: We were best friends from childhood and will probably fall in love at some point

Confidence: Yes

Character 2: We're all we've got against an uncaring world

Anxiety: Generic

Character 2: You're generic

Anxiety: You don't know how to write funny characters Taylor

Character 2: I'm funny

Taylor: What's wrong anxiety

Anxiety: These character tropes have been used in every tween fantasy novel and a whole bunch of adult novels

Confidence: So they obviously work in these sorts of storys

Reality: The characters will change as the story progresses anyway so those basic tropes will do for now. Taylor how's the plot?
