"Elena, you were supposed to help build the Miss Mystic falls float with me", I nagged Elena on the phone as I decorated the float with Caroline.
"I know, I'll be there in five", she told me before ending the call.
I let out a sigh and continued painting it. I finally finished my part of the float and grabbed my bottle of water, taking a long gulp of it.
I saw Stefan walk up to me as I headed inside the school for class. "Hey, how you doing?", I asked with a smile.
"Better after last night", he said and kissed my forehead. I giggled but stopped as Alaric walked past us.
"We need to talk", he told me and we followed him into his classroom.
I sat down at the desk with Stefan and we waited for Damon. He finally came.
"What's going on?", He asked as he noticed Stefan and I.
"I saw Isobel last night", he told us angrily.
I gasped. "Wait, shouldn't Elena be here for this?", I asked. Damon walked in the classroom further and took a seat at the desk next to me.
"No. She insisted that it'd be only you. She didn't mention if she was working with John or not, or the invention or the tomb before you ask, Damon. I was a little too distracted by my dead vampire wife to ask any questions. She wants to see you, Ivy", he told me.
I looked down at the desk nervously and let out a breath I didn't know I was holding in.
"You don't have to see her if you don't want to", Damon told me. I smiled at him and nodded.
"She doesn't have a choice. Isobel threatened to go on a killing spree", Alaric told us.
Damon looked up. "Oh", he stated. "I take it it's not okay with you guys", he joked.
I turned to him and stood up, crossing my arms. "I want to do it. I want to meet her. I'll regret it if I don't", I told him.
I was sat anxiously at a table in the mystic grill. I felt guilty that Elena was unaware of what was happening but I didn't know what Isobel was like.
"Can you here me?", I whispered quietly. I looked over to Stefan who nodded and I smiled at him. "Thanks for coming, I'm nervous", I told him and he gave me a comforting smile.
I took a deep breath as a raven haired pale women walked in through the door and immidietly turned her gaze to mine. I held in a deep breath and watched her walk over to me and take a seat.
"Hello, Ivy", she said with a small emotionless smile. "You look just like her. More than Elena. It's eerie.", I have her a questionable look. "She found me after I turned. She would be fascinated by you. You even act like her sometimes", she told me.
"I don't need to ask who my father is", I told her.
She smiled at me, "smart too. Your father was a teenage waste of space. Why Stefan? Why not go for Damon? Or do you enjoy them both? Like Katherine did", she told me.
I smirked at her. "Wow. And I thought we could be one big happy family", I sassed her. "Why did you want to meet me? Why not Elena?", I asked.
"I'm curious about you. But- I want what your uncle wants...", She began but I cut her off.
I giggled. "One, he's my birth father and two, I know the compass. What does it do? Everyone wants it but I want to know why", I asked just as coldly.
She didn't say anything. I stood up about to leave but she grabbed my wrist tightly. "Sit down and tell you boyfriend to walk away", she instructed me.
