Chapter One. - Nightmares

Olivia

Ive had issues sleeping since the accident. Different scenarios ran through my mind. I used to wake up crying and shaking. Now I'm numb. Pain changes people? I dont even remember the pain so why did I change? My parents finally gave me back my IPhone saying that I deserve to have a little fun... None of my old friends had bothered seeing me. I tried not to let it bother me but they showed up in my dream tonight.

I was in the hallway walking to English when Eliza came up to me. “Hey! I missed you!" But when I looked around people were laughing. I knew what was happening. “Eliza, no." “No what? YOU LEFT US." How did I leave them if I had no control over it? “Im sorry, its not my fault." People start tripping me, beating me up. “NO STOP! PLEASE! NO!" I was screaming, thrashing around.

I woke up sweaty and with tears running down my cheeks. Eliza was my co-captain  of the cheerleaders and ex-bestfriend. I call*Stella* to get the dream out of my mind. “What are you doing? Are you alright?" “Yeah... Wanna go to the mall?" “Yeah sure ol-" she cuts off before continuing. “Ill pick you up in twenty." “Thanks Stell." “No probs Bunny." I smile. She calls me bunny because she isnt allowed to tell me my name.

  I go to my closet and pick out some AE ripped skinny jeans, and a lavender tank with a white cardigan and my white converse.

Stella and I were close when we were younger. I remember her the clearest. I hear the doorbell ring just as I put my money in my wallet. I run and leap into Stellas arms. We jump in her Cadillac and head off.

  When we get there I see some cute guys, but I see one that looks very familiar. I tell Stella hold on and walk over to him. Stella yells wait but I keep going. “Hey, do I know you?" I ask him smiling. He looks confused, and then angry. “Yeah, now stop playing stupid." My smile faltered. “Whats your name and how do I know you? I was in a car accident a few years ago and dont remember anyone really.." he smirks. “Im Jake. Youre ex-boyfriend." I gasp. “What?" “We were totally in love when you got in the accident and your dad made us break it off." He frowns. I definitely don't remember him... “Oh, why'd he make us break it off?" He snickers, “Well I mean look at you, you don't even remember your own name I know that much. you obviously wouldn't remember me." I laugh nervously. “I just got my phone back today, if you want you can text or call me later?" I try to smile as politely as possible. He smirks and takes a pen and goes to reach for my hand, “What are you doing? I can get ink poisoning!" “Thats exactly what you said the first time you asked for my number," he smiles, “Just put it in your phone." I giggle and pull out my iPhone,  I type in his name “Jake" but then a name pops up, “Jakey" “Uhh, I think I may still have your number.." “probably. Jakey with a kiss and monkey or whatever?" “yeaaah..... howd you know?" “you used to tell me about it all the time." “oh well since I already have your number I'll talk to you later!"

I skip back to Stella, “Who is he?" she frowns, “Your ex. He destroyed you. I'll tell you more later." I frown and am extremely curious. Ugh time will tell I guess.

We walk into my house and put our bags on my floor. I plop on my bed and look at my night stand. 8:38 pm

I start back at school in a week too. Im nervous. I was told I can join cheerleading when I start again. I have been thinking about it but im nit sure if i want to. As im laying in bed I start to doze off into a dream....

"Hey baby. You ready?" Jake whispers to me. I giggle, "Yes jakey!" He starts to kiss me and then pulls away. He starts driving and i have no idea where he is headed but im excited. "Olivia, you have to promise not to tell anybody okay?" He winks at me. "Of course. I know the rules." I shrink down disappointed. Jake was my first boyfriend and my first kiss. He cheated on me so many times. He parks the car outside of a path in the woods. I start to get nervous. "Jake where are we?" "Just follow me Olivia." So i listen. I follow him through the woods terrified of what might happen. We come to a small clearing in the middle of the woods about a mile in. Nobody is there but us. "Olivia dont be scared baby. Its just us." "Jake.. You know im not ready what are you doing?" He grabs me and starts kissing and i start hitting his chest trying to push away but hes too strong. "Olivia. Stop."

I wake up utterly terrified... Now i know what she meant by ruined me. I let him walk all over me and hurt me. But wait... He called me Olivia. Is that my name?
