kihyun sat in the library of the school , finishing up the last of his homework before heading to his job. he always did his work in the library since it was quiet here. he felt like he could get more work done here than at home where it was always loud due to his siblings.
when he was finally done, he packed up his things and put the borrowed books back on the right shelves. kihyun waved goodbye to the librarian before walking out.
the dark haired male really enjoyed being in the school after school. it was so quiet and peaceful compared to when there were a bunch of teenagers in the halls, being extremely loud. now of course he knows it's because no one's there, but still. he liked it.
he finally reached the front doors of the school and opened one, stepping out into the warm breeze and sunshine.
it was a really beautiful day today, kihyun thought.
"hey, shorty!" he heard familiar voice of the person he disliked the most call out.
he sighed in mild annoyance before turning around to see minhyuk leaning against the second door to the school with a small, suspicious looking smile on his lips. "don't you have someone else you can go bother?" the shorter male turned and started to walk away.
"nope, i only like to mess with you, short cake." minhyuk said, teasingly. he walked a couple steps to catch up the younger. "you're my favorite."
"oh i feel so special to be your favorite," kihyun rolled his before stopping and staring the taller who was walking beside him. "and what do you think you're doing?"
minhyuk also stopped walking. "i'm walking with you. where are you going, by the way? hopefully the mall to get better clothes?"
kihyun scoffed and rolled his for the second time. "no, idiot. i'm going to work and i'd like it very much if you didn't walk with me. i want to actually enjoy this walk to my job."
"okay."
"thank y —"
"just kidding, i'm walking with you." minhyuk laughed, wrapping an arm around the younger. "let's get going. you don't want to be late now, do you?"
kihyun sighed once again but let the older walk with him.
