Still in my bubble I only just have time to realise that a demon is lunging for my throat.

JJ stabs the demon the blood spurts every where leavening us both soaked. The demon disappears returning to its own realm to reform. You can't kill demon on earth you can only send them back to they're own realm where they reform. It normally takes one hundred years to one thousand years depending how bad the wound is, the only place you can kill a demon is in its own realm.

Snapped back into reality JJ gave me a puzzled look, I'm normally in the zone fighting demons.
"Right" I mutter to my self.
Another demon lunges for me this time going for my legs. I sink my blade into its back and twisting it to make sure it's not going anywhere and cut its head off. I cringe the demon blood spraying everywhere then the demon vanishes that's all the demons gone in that pack.

We move further in the station in silence.
Nothing... There are normally more demons especially this late. JJ is normally not this quiet. I look to my side to see that know ones there, JJ's probably playing a prank on me trying to scare me he'll jump out of the darkness in 3...2...1... He hasn't jumped out yet and I'm getting scared I'm thinking about calling out his name but that will just draw demon attention to me and that's not what I need right now.

I walk back the way we came, still no demons or JJ. I reach for my phone in my pocket the familiar feel of the leather calms me a bit that sense of calm disappears as soon a I remember that I left my phone at home. "OH NO" I curse I forgot my phone, the thought pauses though my brain. As always I leave it on my bed and in an emergency we would use JJ's phone. I never thought that we'd be separated.
Just as I'm about to yell JJ's name a hand closes over my mouth.

And it's not JJ's.
