A boy with duel hair and eyes walk down the sidewalk outside his house with hand stuffed in his pockets. Walking away from his house, away from his hellhole. Your house is supposed to be your home, a place where you feel safe and relaxed in. A place where there are people you can rely on and speak to. A place where you're always happy to go back to. But not his house, that building of a house, was never his home.

Shoto Todoroki is a 16 year old high school student who attends UA high and is a hero in training. Sometimes he wonders himself why he becomes a hero, before memories flow in to the reasons. His head doesn't work normally like it used to, that is if it worked before anyways. His head was always a mess, and it seems to get worse over time. Shoto is the son of the number two hero, nothing to be proud of really, why be proud of being the son of a demon? If he found anything worse than a villain, it was a hero who is truly a villain in the inside, but no one else knows. But he does, he knows, his mom knows, his brothers know, and his sister know, yet they don't know what to do about it.

Shoto's always lived in a world where each time, someone has to leave him, isn't that violating the rules of a home now? If anything, he would compare his home to a prison. The least place he would like to be. Ever since he was young, since the age of three, he was in constant training with his father, no, with Endeavor, that man is not his father. The cruel man never cared for his injuries. He never showed sympathy when he would crouch on the ground with vomit flowing out of his mouth, or acid reflexes burning his throat. He never gave his mother a second to consider smacking her across the face, or kicking her down to the ground. He was a true monster, a true villain.

It's no wonder his mom wasn't in the house anymore, she herself had gone crazy. After she poured the boiling water down his eyes, his father sent her to a mental hospital. It was all a part of his pleasure. He never cared for her to begin with, she was just another useless body used to make himself weapons. The poor woman couldn't handle the life she was living in, and Shoto had entered the kitchen at the wrong time. Her face was so full of regret at that time, but she couldn't hold his small body before she was taken away from him. Even at such a young age, Shoto knew why she did what she did. She despised Endeavor, he made her live a hellish life and Shoto didn't need to be old to see that. Even as a three year old he knew.

Each time Shoto does decide to visit his mother, she wasn't herself anymore. Each time that passes, he could see her going crazier and crazier, absolutely losing her humanity to the pain and suffering she had to endure for so long. Just the other day he had visited her in the hospital. The looks of uncertainty and wariness were on nurses faces as they decided to let him see the women. Shoto didn't need to wonder why, because he already knew. He could already here his mother screaming and he was in the elevator. He's been told she may need to be taken to another hospital if this continues, and he couldn't do a thing about it.

The closer he got to the room, the louder her screams got, and the more piercing it did into his ears. But he pushed through his aching emotions and entered the room with the nurses so close by in case something were to happen. When Shoto pushed the door open, there he sees a fragile looking women, skinny to the bones and clothes barely fitting on anymore. Her fingers were in her hair, pulling and tugging onto them as strands were to fall on the ground. Her screams was the worst of all, if it hurt for anyone to listen to it, it was hell for Shoto to.

"Hey mom...." Shoto would whisper as he walked to her. Rei would just scream and continue the action of tugging her hair and being crouched down. Shoto was getting worried at the signs of her not recognizing him, so he took the risk and walked in front of her, despite the nurses commands. "Mom...." he whispers again and looks into her grey eyes. The eyes that once held love and light into them, now had nothing but a look of despair and darkness coated over it.
