*WARNING, contains bloody violence*
Who knew life for everyone on earth could change like that, in a snap, -a virus dominating over the world- last year no one expected their life to go this way. Able to get sick by someone when you don't keep your distance, so sick that it could end your life. Many lives already have been lost, who knows how many more will follow.
At the moment the whole world isn't in lockdown yet, but Daley expects it to happen, many countries already closed. Considering whether she wants to spend that time with her fiancé, for not knowing how long they have to be on each other's lips. It could either make their relationship better -what she doubts- or it could go really really wrong. That feeling is ruling. A sight leaves her mouth as she looks out of the plane window, on her way back to New York.It is sad that there most likely won't be no season, that is what it's looking like right now, not knowing what the virus is gonna do. Their first formula 1 season has to be postponed, which sucks a lot. But everything for the health of people -racing is not everything. Could it be that this is maybe happening instead of WW3? Something that almost happened this year, but hopefully that will never happen. 2020 is weird, a year that will be remembered, going down in the history books, if people even read books anymore in a couple years. Who knows?
The door opens, Marcus. Yesterday bragging all day, asking if he could come home, she knows better and knows he has been home when she was gone.
Daley needed an extra day, thinking, only answered him this morning. Little does he know they're are going to have a talk and that he won't be sleeping here again tonight -or ever for that matter. The female done with his bullshit. She asked for advise from her parents and siblings, wanting to know what their opinion is about it all. Now she has decided: he isn't the one for her. At first blinded, but now seeing it, something that took her a while. With his eyes brows pushed together, looking down. 'What is this?' Talking about the trash bag on the ground, next to the entree.
Daley gets up from the couch, Sydney watching her boss' every move. 'I'm putting the trash out.' The woman taking a seat at the table, where she's planning on having a conversation with him.
In rapid speed he opens a plastic bag, not believing it, as she has only been home for one day, unable to have that amount of trash already. 'These are my clothes.' Looking up at Daley, meeting her eyes. 'What the fuck is this?' Watching her calmly remove the ring he bought her from her finger, placing it down in the middle of the table. Her answer to his question.
But that doesn't sit right with Marcus, not agreeing. She can't do this to me. Furious walking over to her and places his hand on the bottom of her face, forcing her to look up, almost pulling her up from her chair. The amount that he squeezes creates pain, but she's not scared, self not even knowing why she isn't. Stronger than she expected. 'Don't do this to me Daley, put that stupid ring back on!' Sounding very threatening, wanting control. Spit coming from his mouth when he speaks, ending up on her face.
'Calm down.' Not the right words, only making him angrier, more furious. Removing his hand. But she's not prepared for what's next, a harsh unexpected punch on the right side of her face. Splitting her skin open from the force, blood dripping down her eyebrow. A chill through her body, never has he done this before. Trying not to show he's scaring her, not sure what that power will do to him. The adrenaline rushing through her blood is keeping her together, prepared to do anything, not even feeling her eye that much.
The man takes his distance, throwing his arms around as he yells; 'CALM DOWN! I AM FUCKING CALM! YOU CALM DOWN BITCH!' Starting to make short phases through the room.
Sydney still laying on the couch, all her attention on her boss, she can feel the tension, but not understanding what's really going on -not hearing the yelling. 'Put that stupid ring back on right now!' Pointing at the jewelry on the table.
