“so, let me get this straight. He asked about your summer, comforted you when you seemed sad and didn't ask you out OR use any cheesy pick up lines.” Marlene exclaimed, disbelief written across her face. “Yes, I swear!” I said for the fiftieth time.
Ally had reluctantly given over 5 galleons, knowing that I wouldn't lie about potter to win a bet and was still sulking, occasionally muttering “the ONE time I make a bet he decides to be a normal person”, making us all laugh.
“ I'm gonna head down to the perfects carriage. I want to get there nice and early” l said, wanting to be relieved from discussing James potter.
“Ok miss goody two shoes" Marlene mocked, smirking. I sent her a playful glare as I left in which she blew a kiss in return.
...time skip...
“Ok so is everyone clear ?” Said Megan,the new head girl. we all nodded and began to file out. I had patrols on Thursdays and Saturdays with Remus, not bad .
Suddenly I was pulled into an empty compartment, and before I could scream, a hand clamped over my mouth.i bit down hard. “oww lil what was that for?” I knew that voice. It was sev.. i mean Severus. “what was that for!?”, I said incredulous, “well, let me think you pulled me randomly into a dark compartment, but your disgusting hand on my mouth and called me a Mudblood!” I exclaimed, temper rising.
“lils I'm ” “only people I care about can call me lils” I said gruffly. “Fine then. Lily I'm sorry it was the heat of the moment..” “you didn't talk to me again afterwards or even apologize ’till now. Has it only just occurred to you that a Mudblood is a horrendous thing to call someone!”
“No it's just I'm sorry lily. I love you” he said and started kissing me. It felt horrible. I kicked him where it hurts and slapped him in the face. “HOW DARE YOU!IM SORRY MEANS NOTHING,YOU BROKEN RECORD! AFTER WHAT YOU DID AND STILL DO TO ALL PEOPLE LIKE ME , MUGGLEBORNS, I COULD NEVER LOVE YOU!” I screeched, furious.“then I guess I'll have to make you ” he said snarling. “incarneous” It was hopeless. I didn't have my wand and I was tied up tight so I did the only thing I could, with him leaning in. “HELP" I cried “SOMEONE HE-” oh no you don't, he said grinning slyly. “muffliato” “you will never make me like you, let alone love you” I mouthed at him, bracing myself.
Then, the door burst open and there stood a very angry James potter. I never thought I'd see the day were I was glad to see him.
“Let her go. can't you see she doesn't
like it” he spoke, his voice eerily calm,but cold. “Not like she likes you any better potter ”he sneered. “Right now I don't care if she hates me, just let her go. Now.” suddenly I felt bad for being so cold earlier. Severus didn't move. “petrifis totalis” James came running over asking was I hurt while untying the ropes. Maybe he isn't so bad, i thought with a smile.
